In order to solve the imbalance between supply and demand in China's economic development,in November 2015,Xi Jinping first proposed the strategy of“supply-side reform”.The "supply-side reform" strategy promotes the adjustment of the supply structure,eases the contradiction between supply and demand,promotes economic growth,and promotes the development of China's economy.With the continuous deepening of "supply-side reform",it has also caused widespread concern in various fields of society."Supply-side reform" has important significance for ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,under the leadership of Xi Jinping,a series of achievements have been made in ideological and political theory courses in Chinese universities.In the new period,universities have ushered in a new generation.They have put forward new requirements for ideological and political theory courses.As a result,new contradictions have arisen between the supply and demand of ideological and political theory courses in universities.Based on this,from the perspective of "supply-side reform",this article takes the supply of ideological and political theory courses and the students' demand for ideological and political theory courses as the starting point,based on the literature research,it combine interview survey and questionnaire survey to investigate the supply of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities and the demands of ideological and political theory courses.The study found that the current contradiction between supply and demand of ideological and political theory courses in universities is mainly manifested in four aspects,namely the contradiction between programmatic,large-scale supply and qualitative demand;the contradiction between the unity of supply channels and the diversity of student demand;the supply of diversity Conflicts with individual needs;conflicts between student needs and social requirements.The main reasons for these contradictions are the tension between the high demands of ideological and political teachers on the orientation of scientific research assessment in colleges and universities;the dynamic imbalance of teaching content between theory and practice,and the entertaining of teaching methods in the classroom;The curriculum materials of primary and secondary schools lack transition and connection,curriculum evaluation is difficult to achieve effective feedback of process assessment.Therefore,this article proposes relevant strategies to improve the quality of ideological and political theory courses in colleges from five aspects: curriculum teachers,teaching content,teaching methods,courses materials,and curriculum assessment.In terms of course teachers,it is proposed that colleges and universities need to improve the assessment system,and ideological and political theory course teachers should strengthen teacher-student communication and balance teaching and scientific research;from the aspect of course contents,it is proposed that the teaching contents must be stable,deep,kind,fun,new,flexible,précis.In terms of curriculum methods,it is proposed to reasonably choose classroom teaching methods and actively carry out extracurricular practice teaching to continuously enhance the attractiveness and persuasiveness of the curriculum.From the perspective of courses materials,it is proposed that it should focus on cohesion and grasp the characteristics of the times.Teachers must grasp the difficult points and avoid repetition in the process of using teaching materials.From the aspect of curriculum assessment,it is proposed to focus on process assessment,strengthen practical assessment,and build a dynamic and comprehensive assessment system.Through these strategies,we hope to resolve the contradiction between supply and demand of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities and improve the quality of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.
