Study On The Collaborative Development Of University Library And Rural Library From The Perspective Of The Construction Of Rural Public Culture

Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee,China's modernization construction has made remarkable achievements,not only the comprehensive national strength gets enhanced unprecedentedly,but also the public utilities gets developed sustainably,the material,spiritual and cultural life of residents both in urban and rural areas continues to improve.But compared with the current rural economic and social development level,rural residents' growing spiritual and cultural needs,and the developed system of urban public cultural service facilities,the construction of public cultural service system in rural areas is still relatively backward,and even parts of the agricultural production and living fields have not been in the provision of public services and this kind of phenomenon is not uncommon in the vast rural areas,which highlights the hysteresis of investment from the government to rural public culture and the urgency of public culture construction.Based on this,in order to construct a modern public cultural service system covering both urban and rural areas of the coordinated development,promote the great development of socialist cultural undertaking,especially the development of rural public cultural service,this paper constructs a "Cooperative Development" Mode of university library and the rural library,which based on the rural public culture construction.The specific collaborative ways of the pattern mainly manifest in the following five aspects: one is the linkage and sharing of the printed book resources,the second is the linkage and sharing of the digital library resource,the third is the linkage and sharing of the technology of library management,the fourth is the linkage and sharing of the space of the library and the bookstore,the fifth is linkage and sharing of the extended resources of the library and the bookstore.On this basis,this paper further details and analyzes the ten kinds of specific pattern of linkage and sharing,i.e.providing consulting and researching services for the government,educating and training local farmers,intermediary services,issuing as agent,advertising,organizing activities,exhibition services,develop brand agriculture and providing farming guidance.In short,relying on the vast amounts of resources of university libraries,the rich management and service experience,the "Cooperative Mode" can help rural libraries improve their service levels for" agriculture,countryside and farmers ",build a " university library driving the development of rural library at the same time "bookstore nurturing college" collaborative development pattern,so as to realize the mutual cooperation and development of both University Library and the rural library,and further promote the development of socialist rural public cultural undertakings.Through the comprehensive analysis,it is easy to find out that the functional value of the mode not only can help change the present situation of urban and rural dual culture structure,build up the mode of the coordinated development of modern urban and rural culture,and help to further enhance the degree of socialization of college library,and promote the depth of the development of the college cause,and further release the function value of rural library.The mode also plays a positive role in the prosperity of rural areas by means of knowledge.In addition,this cooperative mode helps to further explore the potential of existing library resources,and to explore a new mode of socialization and comprehensive utilization of college library resources.This paper consists of a total seven chapters.The first chapter,an introduction,briefly expounds the motivation and intention of the research,examines and reviews the research status at home and abroad,collates,stipulates and analyzes the research value of this paper.The second chapter describes the current situation,through the questionnaire survey,we find the social service of University Library is imbalanced,rural library lack of proper service to the "the countryside,agriculture and farmers",and also find out the coordination between university library and rural library is imbalanced too,it also analyzes the cause of those problems based on the findings.The third chapter analyzes the suitable practices of collaborative development for the University Library and the Rural Library through generalizing the experience of the library undertaking in developed countries concerning some European countries and the United States,which provides experience for the construction of the cooperation union.The fourth chapter is the key chapter of the paper.It talks about the path and function of the development of the cooperation union according to the importance of the construction of rural public culture and the relationship between it and the development of the cooperation union.It also describes five kinds of developmental pattern and ten specific synergetic ways.In the fifth and the sixth chapter,it analyzes the internal factors and external conditions of the cooperative development between University Library and rural library,and also clarifies the internal logic and symbiotic foundation of the collaborative development between the two sides.The seventh chapter further reflects on the feasibility of the coordinated development of the two sides,then summarizes and points out that the cooperative development of University Library and rural library will become very popular,become the "accelerator" of cultural construction in rural areas.
