In 2018,Nanning will hold the 12th China International Garden Expo.Nanning Information Infrastructure Construction Investment Company Limited(hereafter The Company)is responsible for the construction of the Expo's communication base station project.The project represents a big pressure to The Company as it needs to deliver high quality construction works within a very short construction period while in the meantime need to coordinate with a wide range of cross-functional departments and it has few cases can be referred to.Therefore,risk identification and corresponding measures are important guarantee for the successful completion of the project.Using the theory and method of project risk management,the author has organized and managed the risk management work for the Expo's communication base station project.Potential risks for every important stage of the whole project,from network optimization,site planning,program development,project procurement,construction bidding,site management,to base station delivery and leasing,will be identified through expert investigation methods and evaluated using qualitative and quantitative measures.Taking the Expo's project as an example,this paper has summarized and highlighted how is the theory of project risk management being used in the construction and daily operation of private towers,based on policy background,construction content,planning requirements,market demand,internal and external resources,etc.Analyzed the risk factors and influence degree of the whole process of the project,risk control measures and suggestions are put forward for planning and design,construction quality,management process,overall progress control,financing and environmental beauty.
