Narrative Research On The National Treasure Of CCTV

National Treasure is a series of super-sized cultural variety shows,firstly broadcast in CCTV-3,and rerun in CCTV-1 since December 3,2017.Programs are recounted in the mode of " theatre +documentary +interview",which overthrows old-fashioned forms and recounting methods ever used in the past cultural programs.Thus it has become a hit since its release,receiving lots of positive comments.Thanks to its similar cultural themes,unique forms and recounting methods,National Treasure is hailed by key pals as a special in cultural sphere.Under the influence of the show,an increasing number of people actively attach great importance to cultural relics,pay a visit to museums,and uncover the stories subsumed in those antiques.And all these are the treasures that National Treasure bestowed on us audience.The paper,National Treasure being the subject,integrates text analysis and literature analysis as main methods to dissect the quality television program,and generalizes its recounting characteristics through the analysis of its exchange of information,materials,and discourse.For the ending part,some reflections and suggestions on the development of National Treasure in the future are presented.Specifically speaking,first,from the aspect of narrative and communication subject,the program mainly uses four elements to constitute narrative communication chain: implied author,narrator,addressee,and implied reader,the implied author is the value orientation of the program,which is intended to promote the profound culture;The narrator is the narrative subject of the program,which consists of the host,program guests and museum directors;The addressee is the narrative object of the narrator,which includes the audiences and the narrator appearing on the scene of the program.The implied reader is the idealized reader who can fully understand the author's artistic intention,which is the audience orientation of the program.From the aspect of narrative stories,based on the narrative stories' classification in Huang changlin's " TV narratology",this paper carries on a textual analysis from three layers:character,events and background.The function of the character in the program is embodied in the choose of the typical public figures and the role setting of "National Treasure Guardian";The organizational connectivity of events is demonstrated by "core events," "satellite events,"and the setting of program themes;The background of the museum and the stage jointly shape the character's image,and build the atmosphere of narrative.From the aspect of the utterance of the narrative,it is mainly analyzed from four perspectives: narrative angle,narrative time,narrative space and narrative structure.The narrative angle of the "National Treasure" mainly includes omniscient perspective,internal perspective and external perspective;The narrative time focuses on the analysis of timing distortion;The narrative space emphatically analyzes the difference and function between lens space and image space.The narrative structure analyses the parallel and progressive narrative structure of the "National Treasure"The chapter five of the paper summarizes the narrative features of the program from the narrative subject,narrative story,narrative utterance and narrative style,the chapter six puts forward personal opinions and improvement strategies to solve the problems such as the lack of interaction,single theme and slow narrative pace in "National Treasure".
