Design And Implementation Of The Data Center Infrastructure Management System Of China Mobile

With the rapid and continuous development of big data and cloud computing technologies,the construction of data center has entered a new era.How to enhance the centralized management of data center is the key of a data center to save costs and gain profits.Leaving the IT devices aside,the efficient and centralized management of all kinds of infrastructures including power s ystems,environment systems of a data center is a big challenge.Therefore,for a modern data center,building a management system which contains all the infrastructures of the data center is very necessary for the data center to improve its efficiency and lower its costs of operation and maintenance.This thesis is based on the requirements of building the data center infrastructure management system of China Mobile.To implement the general management of this data center's infrastructures,we do the researches of DCIM(Data Center Infrastructure Management)state of arts and sort out the requirements of our infrastructure management system,and make detailed design plans of each function module.As for the implementation architecture,we choose MVC,SSH and B/S design pattern,use Java(J2EE)as the developing language.For database part,we use My SQL.At the moment we has preliminary accomplished the development of five modules including operation and maintenance module,alarm module,knowledge base module,statistic and report module,system setting module.The operation and maintenance module which based on ITIL(Information Technology Infrastructure Library)has contained the functions of event management,problem management,change management and release management.The alarm module has contained the functions of handling alarms,power system alarm configuration and environment system alarm configuration.The knowledge base module has contained the functions of adding knowledge,searching knowledge,auditing knowledge,updating knowledge and removing knowledge.The statistic and report module has contained the functions of statistics,generating report,report history,master plates.The system setting module has contained the functions of setting u ser information,setting user authority,system log,etc.At present,the data center infrastructure management system is on a test run in China Mobile(Harbin)Data Center,and it operates well with stable performance.The infrastructure management system helps a lot for improving the efficiency and lowering the costs of our data center.
