Technical Effects Of TBT

In order to comprehend the mechanism of TBT and the influence on the export enterprise explicitly,from the perspective of enterprises and products,this paper took the TBT of Electromechanical industry as the main object and constructed the two-way panel data econometric model with production data of Chinese export enterprises and trade data,studied the effect of TBT on technology export enterprises and export products.It's too important to verify the validity of the hypothesis,so we took different ways to measure the TBT,and used the total factor productivity and the export sophistication of the export products as the measurement indicators of the technical effects.Research findings: firstly,TBT has a significant effect on the enterprise and product,and it has nothing to do with the measurement of TBT and technical effect;secondly,the effects of TBT on enterprises and products has a certain lag,and the impact on the lag period is more significant than the current period;lastly,the technical effect of TBT is positively correlated with the length of operation and negatively correlated with the ratio of export products.The innovations: the technical effects of different TBT are investigated from the perspective of TFP and sophistication of the exports respectively,which reflects the innovation of research perspective;and in the process of regression,we use different methods to measure TBT and its technical effects,and use counterfactual simulation to do further robustness test.This research is a good supplement to the study of TBT technical effects,not only promoting TBT technical effects in the research of enterprise and product micro level,but also helping the enterprise and the government to better cope with foreign technical barriers,and promoting a new technical perspective view to realize the national strategy about"quality imports and quality exports".
