The competition in the clothing market is getting more and more fierce.On the one hand,with the acceleration of economic globalization,numbers of foreign clothing brands have stationed in China one after another,not only taking the advantage of cheaper labor forces in China to carry out OEM production,but also,at the same time,continually strengthening their own brand-building and seizing more market share through opening more first direct-sale store in China.On the other hand,since the clothing production is essentially easy to be imitated,it is normal to see lots of products similar at style,quality,price and material in the market.All the factors above,as a result,has been narrowing the profit margins of clothing market.This thesis,based on the analysis of the current situation of apparel supply chain management,will put forward the problems of lagging inventory management,the lack of technical support,the distortion of demand information,the deficiency of suppliers' management and so on.Moreover,the domestic well-known woman's clothing company Q with UNIQLO that representatives fast-fashion clothing from the perspective of supply chain management and SWOT analysis,this thesis will make efforts to give suggestion and advice to the famous domestic suit-dress enterprise Q on optimizing supply chain management,and try to figure out the common problems and general lessons of supply chain management in domestic clothing industry.This thesis argues that the clothing enterprise should firstly identify its own brand position,design supply chain suitable for the development of the enterprise and business environment,and then build high-efficient information sharing technology through computer and IT technology,and the next step will be on shortening lead time and lifting turnover rate through establishing strategic partnerships,implementing supplier comprehensive evaluation index system and other supply chain management such as rapid reaction,in order to improve the competitive capability and profitability of the clothing industry.
