At present,China is in a critical period of transition from traditional manufacturing to new manufacturing.The high productivity,high consumption,and high inventory brought about by traditional manufacturing have greatly weakened the market competitiveness of enterprises.Therefore,to solve the problem of high consumption and high inventory caused by high productivity,it is necessary to optimize the enterprise inventory management model and promote the transformation of the production mode of the enterprise from low-end manufacturing to high-end manufacturing.First of all,this paper discusses the guidance function of JIT theory on inventory management,and discusses the related content of JIT inventory management in detail and demonstrates its advanced nature.Secondly,this paper discusses the problems existing in the management of electric inventory in G Electric company,and makes an in-depth analysis of the reasons.The analysis shows that the inventory management consciousness is weak in the purchasing,production,warehousing and sales,and there is not a perfect set of measures to control the inventory.The main performance is the lack of scientific and reasonable planning,lack of adequate communication among departments,and lack of strategic cooperation with suppliers.The traditional push production needs to hold stock in each process,the production plan is not scientific,and the failure rate of mechanical equipment is high,leading to the existence of quality problems.The classification management of warehouse inventory is lack of systematic,weak internal control consciousness and unclear division responsibilities.Due to the rapid updating of the industry technology and frequent customer order changes,the sales link has lost the market and other issues as soon as the product has been produced.Finally,according to the actual situation of the company,combined with the specific requirements of inventory management,the general idea of G Electric company Inventory Management was designed.This includes the formulation of scientific and reasonable procurement plans,the establishment of a highly informatized communication and communication platform within the company,and the establishment of strategic cooperation with suppliers;the transformation of production models from“pushing”to“pulling”,development of sound production plans,and implementation Total quality management;ABC classification method used for inventory classification,improve the internal control system,the division of labor clear responsibilities to people;according to national policies to adjust the sales model,expand sales channels and other measures.This article starts from the actual situation of G Electric company's inventory management and uses the JIT theory as a guide to reduce the inventory depreciation,reduce the occupation of funds by inventory,and improve the efficiency of fund use.For the improvement of the status quo of manufacturing inventory management,in response to national policies to improve the production structure to eliminate backward production capacity has important reference significance.
