Nowadays Lean production is the main tendency of competition in Industrial field,therefore ZERO inventory,which the core of lean production becomes the hot target each company are chasing after.This article make qualitative and quantitative evaluation on A company's own situation by method of literature research and experienced summary to study issues exiting in their inventory management.For example,high inventory level,but low MO(Manufactory Order)on-time delivery performance,cause low customer on-time delivery performance,meanwhile high obsolete inventory level,information regarding customer demand change are flowing effectively in and between department,cause customer unsatisfied.Find out the specific reason after analysed,set up improvement plan from two main aspects,that are optimizing inventory management process and material classification management by the means of lean management theory.Set up related KPI for better estimating the effectiveness of the plan in future activities.A company got big improvement after the planning run a period time,such as,clean and orderly materials are placed in warehouse,inventory level is kept on reducing,customer on-time delivery performance is on improving,obsolete inventory is consumed positively.All those phenomenon show this plan are effective and periodical successfully.
