Facing with the tightening of constraints on resource elements and the lacking of innovation-driven development,innovation has become a new source of economic growth in the new era.With the call of the 19 th Congress on "building a doubleinnovation society",the scale of the academic research activities on innovation can be described as unprecedented,from the national to the industry,to the enterprise,is committed to taping all aspects of innovation and breakthrough energy path.For enterprises,talent is the cornerstone of its development.As a senior human capital,technology executives directly participate in the formulation and decision-making of corporate innovation strategy,affect the scale and direction of input of innovation elements,and guide technological innovation activities of enterprises.Therefore,the role of technical executives in enterprise innovation can not be ignored.Taking the 2013-2016 GEM listed companies as the research object,this paper mainly discusses the role of technical executives in enterprise innovation activities.In the measure of enterprise innovation activities,taking into account the contribution to the innovation progress of our country's low rate of the problem lies in the innovation and economic separation,is converted into the corresponding social productivity,so the principle of "innovation economy" the integration of thinking,innovation will promote the performance of the economy,not only pay attention to the innovation investment also pay attention to innovation output,constructs a three-dimensional system to measure the innovation performance,namely "input-output efficiency".Therefore,this paper will take the proportion of technical executives in senior management team as explanatory variables,and adopt multiple index measurement system in the choice of explanatory variables,which can be divided into innovation input index,innovation efficiency index and innovation output index.The stage of innovation mainly includes the investment of unit R & D funds and the investment of R & D personnel.The index of innovation efficiency mainly refers to the number of patents lagged behind in a year.The index of innovation output is measured by lagging one year's Tobin Q value and the sales revenue growth rate of one year's lag.The empirical study shows that:(1)the proportion of enterprise technical executives is significantly positively correlated with the investment of R&D funds and personnel input.(2)there is a significant positive correlation between the proportion of enterprise technical executives and the number of patents that are lagging behind for one year.(3)the positive correlation between the proportion of technical executives and the sales growth rate of a company lagged behind for a year is not significant,but it has a positive correlation with the market value of the lags.If the analysis from the "input-output" two stage,more technical talents of the corporate team,will increase the enterprise innovation funds and manpower;impact on innovation output,from the two aspects of the technology output and economic output,the proportion of executives "technology enterprise technology output has a positive role in promoting,and influence for economic output is discussed respectively.In the first stage,book income and sales revenue are not sensitive to corporate innovation activities,while market investors show greater interest in innovation activities,and increase the market value of enterprises.Although the conclusion of this study negates some of the hypotheses,the realistic information will deserve the further study.This study enriches the research angle and level of the relationship between top management team and enterprise innovation,construct the "input – efficiency-output” of the three innovation performance evaluation system,enhance the mechanism of influence on enterprise innovation performance,which has a certain reference value for improving the performance of enterprise innovation measure.
