The development of economic globalization and information technology has brought development opportunities and challenges to China's logistics enterprises.In the modern information age,the Internet of things is gradually used in logistics enterprises,with the integration of logistics services.With the support of policies and the maturation of Internet of things technology,logistics automatic intelligent operation has become an inevitable trend.How to increase the competitiveness of enterprises and realize the transformation from traditional logistics to modern information logistics enterprises with using the Internet of things,it is the key to the development of domestic logistics enterprises.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to analyze the operation efficiency of logistics enterprises under the background of Internet of things and find effective ways to improve their operational efficiency.Based on the analysis of relevant literatures and theories at home and abroad,this paper takes 35 listed logistics enterprises in 2006-2015 years as research samples.According to the background of the Internet of things,the three stage DEA is constructed,and the operational efficiency of the listed logistics enterprises is evaluated and multi angle analysis.Then the Tobit regression model is used to analyze the efficiency factors from the two aspects of the enterprise Internet of things application and the multi angle robustness test is carried out.The research shows that:(1)the improvement of local science and technology will significantly reduce the capital and labor input of logistics enterprises,and the scale of enterprises,the fixed number of years,the concentration of equity and the capital density have different effects on the slack of investment;(2)after eliminating the influence of environmental variables,it is found that the operation efficiency of logistics enterprises is underestimated in the first stage,and the pure technical efficiency is the main factor of the inefficiency of operation efficiency,the average operating efficiency of logistics enterprises has been decreasing after 2010;(3)The average operating efficiency of listed logistics enterprises in Bohai rim,Yangtze River economic belt and Pearl River Delta region is close to each other,showing a balanced development;(4)there is no absolute convergence in operational efficiency of listed logistics enterprises in China,but there is a significant conditional convergence;(5)after the Internet of things industry has become a national strategic industry,the operational efficiency of the logistics enterprises has not been improved,the reduction of the assets and liabilities rate and return on equity,and the improvement of technological innovation ability and the total assets turnover rate are all conducive to the improvement of enterprise efficiency,and the role of customer concentration and net asset yield is not obvious.Based on the conclusion of the study,this paper holds that in order to improve the efficiency of the operation under the background of the Internet of Things,the logistics enterprises should expand properly and put more emphasis on improving the internal management efficiency of the enterprises,selecting senior management and technical personnel,strengthening the ability of technological innovation,improving the information sharing platform,and speeding up the conversion of the income of the adoption cost of the Internet of things.At the same time,the government should encourage the development of the Internet of things,improve the level of science and technology,promote the free flow of technology and talents,provide a stable environment for the local logistics enterprises and help them transform into modern enterprises.
