Study On Logistics Efficiency Evaluation Of Three Major Coastal City Clusters In East China

As the pace of China's economic development continues to slow down,various industries start to continuously promote the pace of improving quality and efficiency.Logistics has always been regarded as the "third source" of profits.How to speed up the improvement of quality and efficiency of the logistics industry has become the focus of many scholars.City cluster economy has always been the mode of steady development of domestic economy.Among them,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze river delta and pearl river delta city clusters are the three regional economic growth poles leading China's economic development.Therefore,this paper chooses to study the logistics efficiency of these three city clusters.In this paper,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,Yangtze river delta and the pearl river delta region in 2012-2017 to study the efficiency of logistics,the research process,from the perspective of human,material and capital three selected four input indicators,chose the two output indexes from the result of economic output,environment variables,considering the economic development level,education level and industrial structure of three variables,the analysis first the three stage DEA model is adopted to study the three urban agglomerations of logistics industry of comprehensive technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency,and to the three urban agglomerations in 2012 and 2017 the logistics efficiency of time and space evolution,Then,combined with the data adjusted by the three-stage DEA model,this paper adopts the Malmquist index to analyze the changes of total factor productivity of the logistics industry in the three major urban agglomerations.Finally,this paper conducts a convergence study on the total factor productivity obtained by the analysis of the Malmquist index,and finally draws the following conclusions.(1)The level of economic development has a significant positive impact on the logistics efficiency of the three major city clusters;The comprehensive technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the Yangtze river delta are still the best,while the pure technical efficiency of the pearl river delta is the best.The development of logistics industry in the three major city clusters is unbalanced,and there is the phenomenon of crane tail.The main factor affecting the logistics efficiency of the three major city clusters is the low scale efficiency.(2)The comprehensive technical efficiency of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is degraded;The transformation of pure technical efficiency is the most optimistic in the three big city clusters,and the trend of the three big city clusters' logistics efficiency from the low efficiency to the high efficiency zone is concentrated in the coastal zone and the regions with more developed economic development.(3)The three urban agglomerations in the logistics industry during the period of 2012-2017 total factor productivity rise the 3.5%margin,technological progress is the three urban agglomerations logistics industry total factor productivity key drivers keep rising,technical efficiency is the main driving factors of scale efficiency,pure technical efficiency and technical efficiency are the three urban agglomerations logistics failed to increase substantially.(4)Convergence trend appeared in the total factor productivity of logistics of the three major urban agglomerations from 2014 to 2017.On the whole,the three major urban agglomerations had absolute convergence and catch-up effect,and the difference of total factor productivity of logistics between regions was decreasing.
