Under the new normal economic background,companies are facing new opportunities while also ushering in unprecedented challenges.More and more managers are aware that employees' intellectual support is the key to maintaining their competitive advantages.The leader,as a direct target for the acceptance of employees' opinion,has the resources and rights to change the status quo,and the words and deeds of the leaders are closely related to the performance of the employee's voice behavior(Abbreviated as EVB,the same below).In this context,as the role of employees' talents continues to rise,new requirements have also been put forward for the leader management model.Servant Leadership takes "altru"and "service" as the main features,which is a kind of employee-oriented leadership style and practice.The irreplaceable advantages in building trust with employees and dismissing employee concerns make it become the most popular leadership style in recent years.Therefore,on the base of literature review and theoretical analysis,this paper constructs the relationship model of EVB,servant leadership,psychological empowerment and proactive personality.The purpose of this study is to examine the direct impact of service leaders on EVB and its process mechanisms of impact,which will help managers clearly inspire the path of EVB and implement targeted measures.Through the questionnaire survey of 405 enterprise employees and the use of hierarchical multivariate regression analysis of SPSS22.0 statistical software to verify the proposed hypothesis one by one,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Servant leadership has a positive prediction on EVB.The service and authorization Dimensions of servant leadership for Employees'promotive Voice Behavior(abbreviated as PMVB,the same below)and prohibitive voice behavior(abbreviated as PHVB,the same below)all have significant positive effects,while the vision dimensions is only significantly positive to PMVB and has no significant effect on PHVB.(2)Psychological empowerment has a partial mediating effect on service leaders' impact on EVB.Servant leadership can strengthen employees'perceptions of psychological empowerment by serving and authorizating employees to promote more PHVB and PMVB performance.However,the results also state that the psychological empowerment does not have an intermediate role in the relationship between vision dimension and PHVB or PMVB either.(3)The proactive personality plays a positive regulation on the influence between leadership and EVB.The higher level of proactive personality employees,the stronger positive influences which the service behaviors and authorizations of servant leadership make on PHVB can be obtained.However,the regulation about what employees' proactive personality makes on the relationship between vision dimensions and PHVB is unremarkable.Simultaneously,owing to the influence vision incentive of servant leadership makes on authorizations,the stronger proactive personality employees have,the more proactive PMVB' s performance they will do,but the same effect doesn't appear on the relationship between service dimensions and PMVB.Finally,from the results of theoretical research and empirical analysis,this paper gives relevant.and feasible proposals for the promotion of EVB.Additionally,it explains the points to be improved in this article and gives some research prospects.
