Transportation infrastructure,as the capital of the society, plays an important role in economic development.China's economic development has made remarkable achievements in the world, among which transportation infrastructure has played a huge role.Transportation infrastructure links all parts of the region to form a physical network. So as to attract the continuous inflow of capital, labor force and technology production elements in other regions, and promote the regional economic growth. To a certain extent, the regional economic growth will promote the economic development of the surrounding areas. The spatial spillover effect of transportation infrastructure has attracted the attention of many scholars. At the same time,in recent years, the role of social capital in geospatial level has attracted academic attention. The development level of social capital in different regions is different, which affects the development of regional economy and presents different spatial characteristics in different regions.Scholars use social capital to explain economic problems in the region.Social capital not only affects industrial transfer, but also reduces the problem of incompatibility between supply and demand in the consumer market. Moreover,it can promote the formation of industrial clusters, and play a mutual trust relationship among people to form a network of relationships and enhance the stability of clusters. However, after combing the literature,we find that social capital as an important input factor besides human and material capital is mostly analyzed in the study of the impact of social capital on regional economic growth.Few people pay attention to the media role of social capital in the process of economic growth. This means that the economic development is affected by the effect of the space spillover effect on the traffic infrastructure. We can not help asking: transportation infrastructure as a material network, social capital as a relationship network, can it affect and affect economic growth? Is there an interaction effect?Based on this realistic background, how to make social capital and transportation infrastructure better promote China's economic growth, and mitigate the great differences in the economic development of various regions in China and make the regional economy develop in a coordinated way.It is the challenge facing the present.Based on the Cobb Douglas function and the space panel model, this paper focuses on the following problems with the example of China's interprovincial. One is to explore the existence and direction of the spatial spillover effect of traffic infrastructure. The two is to explore the media role of social capital in the space spillover effect of traffic infrastructure, the existence, the direction of action and the strong and weak role of the media. The conclusions of this paper are as follows.1.The effect of social capital on the space spillover effect of traffic infrastructure is also achieved through the two path of micro and macro.2.The economic level of our country has a remarkable spatial aggregation phenomenon. The gap between the economic development, social capital and the level of transportation infrastructure in the East, middle and western regions of China is obvious. The economic level decreased from the east to the west, forming a staircase development trend.3.Traffic infrastructure has significant spatial spillover effects.4.Social capital is an important medium for various regions to effectively utilize the space spillover of traffic infrastructure to promote economic development. And the different dimensions of the social capital constructed by different dimensions have different effects on the spatial spillover effect of traffic infrastructure.
