| As one of the achievements of the development of the tourism undertaking,tourist volunteer has brought into force its unique charms.Under the current status that the government-guided tourist volunteer teams have played a significant role,it is of a great need to conduct studies on such a kind of tourist volunteers.At present,the tourist volunteers are characterized by the active and passionate participation and the booming and expansion of the teams;nevertheless,there are also such problems as that the volunteer teams are still unstable,the levels and mechanism of volunteer management still need to be improved,there is a lack of an effective incentive mechanism,insufficient intensity of publicity of the volunteer teams and scarce assurances of the volunteers.In order to enhance the stable development,search the motives of the tourist volunteers' motives for participating in the volunteer activities,and effectively incentivize the tourist volunteers to continue their participations,this study conducts many-faceted explorations so as to search some effective measures.Firstly,this study conducts a survey using the Questionnaires for the participation motives of the tourist volunteers and studies the six functional motives of the volunteer behaviors of the tourist volunteers,which are respectively the self-protection motive,value motive,career development motive,social interaction motive,learning motive and self-enhancement motive.The survey samples came from three tourist volunteer teams: the “Tourist woodpecker” tourist volunteer team of Jinan City,West lake Tourist Volunteer Team of Hangzhou,and the Yangzhou Municipal International Tourist Volunteer Service Corps,and a total of 323 copies of questionnaires were distributed.In this Thesis,the tourist volunteers;motives were surveyed using SPSS20.0 through the following perspectives: 1.Analysis of the basic status f the tourist volunteers' participations;2.An analysis of the general situation of the tourist volunteers actions and participations and motives;3.An analysis of the differences in the tourist volunteers' participation motives.It has grained an initial comprehension of the current basic status and features of the tourist volunteers' motives;the,a survey was conducted with pertinence to functional satisfaction perceptibility and a summary was made regarding the factors that are unbeneficial to the continuation of the tourist volunteers' actions.Through the assortments and analyses of the above data surveys and in combination of the in-depth interviews and investigations,this study summarizes the characteristics of the participation motivations of the tourist volunteers: the altruism is strong and the value motive outstanding;2.The paramount motive is the learning motive;3.Elderly tourist volunteers feature stronger motives for participations in the volunteer activities;4.The social support system of the tourist volunteers can strengthen the participation motives.Furthermore,the research,starting from the perspectives of the functional motive,it proposes an incentive strategy of tourist volunteers in categories and puts forward from different directions the incentive strategies that satisfy the various motives. |
