Cognitive psychology research in the field of vocational interest as a variable in the enterprise often plays an important role in the activities of the measurement,most companies follow the United States,a psychology professor at the Johns Hopkins university,a famous American vocational guidance of experts Holland in 1959,vocational interest with a broad range of social impact theory to conduct assessment activities,the theory is that interest is the driving force for human activities,the staff are all interested in career,can improve their work motivation,so as to make the staff actively,happily engaged in the profession,and obtain professional success.Holland defines an individual's interest characteristics as a combination of six personality dimensions(realistic,research-based,artistic,social,entrepreneurial,and conventional).The types of vocational interest at the same time,in accordance with the individual career and he will be divided into six types of the corresponding,the dominant vocational interest dimensions will attract individual search and their vocational interest types corresponding to the work environment.According to Holland's career interest theory,once individuals enter the environment that they think is suitable for them,they will produce more positive behaviors,resulting in high performance.Although a number of studies have confirmed that the measurement of professional interest in Holland can predict important work outcomes(such as job performance,turnover intention,resignation,training performance,etc.).However,through the review and review of the literature,we found that the measurements taken in these studies did not take into account the individual's self-cognitive biases in vocational interest.This article puts forward the contextualization of interest measurement way from Situational judgment test(Situational Judgement Tests,SJT),is determined by measuring the understanding to the individual vocational interest,provide individuals with a short scene experience,that is to participate in the ideal position for a period of time,observe their change between interest and work performance.With the traditional Holland vocational interest,contextualized vocational interest measurement will be more conducive to help individuals make career choices and career design,participants of situational judgment process is the subjects and profession and post matching process,in order to increase their personal interests and the degree of match between organizational environment.Lead them to better career simulation and selection.This research chose two different samples,using the perspective of contextualized,according to the specific mechanism of vocational interest effect to the work performance to study,get the following conclusions:(1)for a specific position of contextualized vocational interest measure and significantly positively related to job performance;(2)contextualized occupational interest measurement method is used to measure the incremental validity of the prediction of work performance of the big five personality;(3)it verifies that the intrinsic motivation plays a part in the influence of occupational interest on job performance.
