Under the background of economic globalization and open development,the land economy needs combining with the ocean and the marine economy also needs to rely on the port to strengthen,so the interaction between the port and the hinterland will become more and more close.Based on the existing literature,this paper reviews the basic theory of coordinated development of port-hinterland economic,the classification of port-hinterland and the interaction between port and hinterland and summarizes the contribution and deficiency of existing research.Then comb out the research framework of the thesis.This paper will take the Beihai port,Qinzhou port,Fangcheng port,Zhanjiang port and its 76 hinterland cities in southwest region as the research objects in the vicinity of Beibu gulf urban agglomeration.Establish the port strength and hinterland economic strength evaluation system and introduce the field strength model to evaluating the influence of the port.The results show that the spatial distribution of the port field is consistent with the "center-periphery" theory.Distance has a negative effect on the influence of the port,and the economic strength of the hinterland is partly offset by the distance.The scope of the hinterland is divided according to the relative size of the port strength of each port.The development stage of hinterland is judged according to the theory of Chenery industrial stage.A coordinated development model and relative development model were established to analyze the coordinated development types of port and hinterland in each stage.It is shown that during the research period,the development degree of each port and the direct hinterland was improved.By 2016 the type of Beihai port of the coordinated development is I type:antagonism,port development lags behind the hinterland.The type of Qinzhou port is ? type:running-in,development of port is ahead of the hinterland.The type of Fangcheng port is IV type:running-in,port development lags behind the hinterland.The type of Zhanjiang port is ? type:coordinate,port and hinterland synchronous development.The port and the indirect hinterland coordinated development most enter the grinding phase.At last,In this paper,the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of guiding the dislocation development of ports,building a port brand?establishing cross-regional coordination mechanism to effectively integrate the beibu gulf port group?improving the overall strength of the system,promoting interactive upgrade of the"port-hinterland"?strengthening the "port-hinterland" talent construction,and facilitating the "One Belt And One Road" strategy.
