Family businesses serve as an important supporting force for the Chinese economy.At present,China is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading.Innovation has become the only way for the transformation and upgrading of family businesses and even entire countries.Efforts should be made to realize the innovation and development of enterprises and promote the transformation and upgrading of the country.The role of family businesses cannot be ignored.Family participation is the main feature of family business that is different from nonfamily companies.Whether family participation effectively determines whether the family system can coordinate with the enterprise system,and then enhances the company's ability to innovate.On the basis of careful research on a large number of domestic and foreign literatures,this paper uses knowledge transfer as an intermediary variable to study the influence of family participation on the innovation performance of family businesses.Firstly,it comprehensively analyzes related theories of family business,knowledge transfer and innovation ability,and selects four factors including ownership,management rights,control rights,and altruism.As the four dimensions of family participation,knowledge transfer is selected to obtain performance and use performance as In the two dimensions of knowledge transfer performance,four factors,namely innovation information perception ability,innovation knowledge interpretation ability,innovation decision ability,and innovation implementation capability,were selected as the four dimensions of the company's innovation capability.On this basis,16 hypotheses were proposed.A research model was constructed,a corresponding questionnaire was designed and a sufficient amount of data was collected.Finally,SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used to perform multicollinearity test on the model first,and then regression analysis was performed on the submodels.The results of the regression analysis were discussed to verify the proposed hypothesis.Compared with previous studies,the main contribution of this paper is to put forward the knowledge transfer as an intermediary variable,which is an extension of the factors affecting the innovation ability of family businesses,providing a new angle for the study of the innovation ability of the family business,and is a positive exploration in the field of innovation.
