Study On The Competitiveness And Complementary Of Sino-Vietnam Rice Trade

China and Vietnam are adjacent to each other.At present,Vietnam's exports to China is mainly rice,and rice plays a major role in grain export.With the deepening of globalization and the deepening of the world food crisis,the importance of rice trade to China and Vietnam has been strengthened.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the rice trade between the two countries.Firstly,the trade characteristics of rice trade between China and Vietnam are mastered,according to the relevant data of rice trade,the trade characteristics hidden behind the data are analyzed.Second,the empirical approach is used to assess the dependence of rice exports between the two countries.The results of this study indicate that there are certain fluctuations in rice trade between China and Vietnam.The trade volume between China and Vietnam rice is not high,and there is a certain trade fluctuation,can say that the rice trade between the two countries have larger development space.The comparative advantage of rice exports from China and Vietnam was analyzed by using the index of comparative advantage(RCA)and relative trade advantage index(RTA).This suggests that Vietnamese rice has a comparative advantage in China.The rice on the export trade rarely exist in direct competition,to reduce the trade friction between the more has a promoting effect,benefit in both sides to keep more lee long-term good relations of cooperation.From another perspective,also can strengthen agricultural cooperation,through calculation,China and Vietnam's bilateral trade complementary index is on the rise,increasing complementarity,China and Vietnam have huge potential,there is a potential trade cooperation.On the basis of the results obtained from the analysis,in view of in rice trade development between the targeted Suggestions,to avoid conflict,give full play to the advantages,promote the development of bilateral economic and trade cooperation,constantly opening up new areas of cooperation,both sides can get economic benefits from growing trade.
