A Study On The International Competitiveness Of China 's Rice Trade

Cereals are the basic foodstuff of human, cereals trade has always been an important part of international trade. Rice has the highest output in the world’s cereals, and rice trade is important in international trade. Rice output of China is in the first place around the world, at the same time rice is the tradition export products, China used to be one of the three largest rice exporter in the world. The rice import quantity has increased rapidly from 2011, even rose to more than 3 times in 2012. The Chinese rice trade structure changed from net exports into net imports. In this context, choosing the Chinese rice trade as the research object, promoting the international competitiveness of Chinese rice trade through the analysis of its trade development and international competitiveness level.The article analyzes the supply and demand situation and trade competition of the international rice market, focus on the analysis of rice trade conditions of China, and then measure the international competitiveness level of Chinese rice trade with the method of index analysis. The international competitiveness of Chinese rice trade is lower than other rice trade countries, and become lower and lower. At last, the article puts forward the suggestions of increasing the international competitiveness, on the basis of analyzing the influence factors of international competitiveness of Chinese rice trade.
