Research On Guangxi-vietnam Economic And Trade Cooperation Under The Background Of "The Belt And Road"

The economic and trade links between Guangxi and Vietnam have a long history,which can be traced back to the Qin and Han dynasties and more than 2000 years old,and have better historical accumulation,humanistic Foundation,geographical advantage and platform advantage.After the resumption of normal relations between China and Vietnam in the early 1990 s,the economic and trade cooperation between Guangxi and Vietnam has been greatly developed.At present,the Guangxi-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation in goods trade,trade in services,investment cooperation,economic and technical cooperation and cross-border electric cooperation and other aspects have achieved greater development results.However,there are still some problems such as unbalanced trade development,trade protection and trade barrier,poor settlement mode,unreasonable industrial and product structure,serious smuggling activities,especially the political mutual trust between China and Vietnam under the background of "the Belt and Road ".Nationalism and the complicated international environment and other restrictive factors have greatly hindered the economic and trade cooperation between Guangxi and Vietnam.But under the "the Belt and Road " initiative,the trade of Guangxi and Vietnam also ushered in the unprecedented development opportunity and advantageous condition,which is advantageous to Guangxi to exert the location superiority to deepen the Guangxi-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation,the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the Silk Road Fund and so on financial support also is advantageous to both sides infrastructure and the Cross-border economic Cooperation area construction and so on.Therefore,Guangxi should strengthen the communication with Vietnam,strengthen the infrastructure interconnection,deepen cooperation in various fields,promote the smooth trade,improve the trade settlement system,strengthen the financial cooperation,strengthen the people-to-people exchanges,and seek to deepen the cooperation between Guangxi andVietnam.
