At present,the economic globalization is a general trend and it has been developing rapidly.Multinational corporations are also expanding their operations in the world.The product is no longer limited to one or several countries,but it is distributed to different countries to produce it based on different production processes.In the context of the globalization,it is an inevitable trend for China to participate in the Global Value Chain.In particular,the implementation of the “One Belt and One Road” strategy has made the economic exchanges between China and other countries more frequently,which makes China play a very important role in the Global Value Chain.And China has become a world-renowned processing plant.On the one hand this has an important role in promoting China's economic growth,but on the other hand it will also limit China's economic development.At the same time,the current income gap in China is still very serious,and the income gap is also very important for labor-intensive developing countries.Therefore,the main purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of GVC Participation on income gap in China in the context of economic globalization,and it is based on the global value chain participation degree.Finally,we hope to find out the policy suggestion to narrow income gap in China.The main methods of this paper are as following.Firstly,it is the literature research method.The premise of the dissertation research is to read,summarize,and summarize the domestic and international literature on global value chains and income gaps.The purpose is to lay a sufficient theoretical support for the study of the dissertation.At the same time,find the data needed for the paper to ensure that the paper's empirical analysis goes smoothly.Secondly,it is the theory and empirical research methods.This article not only examines the impact of Global Value Chains on the income gap from the overall perspective,but also analyzes the impact of different industries' participation in Global Value Chains on their income gaps from an industry perspective.And the paper also compares the influence of the GVC Participation of the sub-industry on the income gap,and then put forward some suggestions for narrowing the income gap.This article mainly includes five chapters content.The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly includes the research backdrop,research meaning,literature review,research methods,research framework,innovations and deficiencies of the article.The second chapter is related to the theoretical mechanism,which mainly includes the traditional theory of the influence of international trade on the Income Gap and the transmission mechanism of the impact of the Global Value Chain on the Income Gap.The third chapter is related to the situation,mainly including the status of GVC Participation in China and the status of China's income gap.The fourth chapter is an empirical analysis of the impact of China's participation in Global Value Chain on income gap,which mainly includes the construction of relevant models,interpretation of variables,and analysis of empirical results.And it is mainly based on the empirical analysis of the overall and sub-industry perspectives.The fifth chapter is the conclusions and suggestions based on the analysis results of the fourth chapter.One conclusion is that the relationship between China's Global Value Chain participation and the overall income gap is positive,the other one is that the impact of Global Value Chain participation on industry income disparity is different,this is because of their own nature and different link in the Global Value Chain.Finally,putting forward some policy recommendations to narrow the income gap in China.
