Property Rights & Pay Gap And Sustainable Development Capacity

Choosing the Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2008 to2016 as the research sample,this paper tries to examine relationship between enterprise wage gap and the sustainable development ability,the results showed that the pay gap and the sustainable development ability is inverted U-shaped relationship,this means that the enterprise wage gap is smaller than the critical value of 277098.97 yuan,the enterprise sustainable development ability increases with the increase of the pay gap,when continue to increase the pay gap is greater than the critical value of277098.97 yuan,their innovation motivation and fair when they feel directly affect the salary gap continues to increase will reduce the sustainable development ability of enterprise.Considering the state-owned enterprises staff salary is affected by the policy and promotion mechanism,and non-state-owned enterprises basically is expected to promote the staff's work enthusiasm by wage gap,thus achieve the purpose of improve enterprise sustainable development ability,this paper further investigates the nature of property rights influence on the above relations,through the distinction between state-owned enterprises and non-state-owned enterprises samples,using unrelated regression to chow test,the results showed that the wage gap with the enterprise sustainable development ability of the inverted U-shaped relationship is significant in non-state enterprises,and weak in the state-owned enterprises.The contribution of this paper lies in: first,find the pay gap and the sustainable development ability of inverted u-shaped relationship,and the inverted U inflection point is calculated by mathematical calculation,enrich the salary gap between economic consequences research literature.Second,from the perspective of enterprise property right clarified the compensation gap affect the ability of enterprise sustainable development mechanism and gives the corresponding empirical evidence,to guide enterprises to formulate reasonable salary incentive system provides a useful reference.
