In the background of information and Internet plus Era,innovation paradigm of network is getting higher and higher,how to use the internal and external network to improve the ability of innovation has become the key of enterprises competitiveness.According to the related research,the role of enterprise external network capability and network connection to innovation performance has been explained in a more comprehensive way.But there is still a lot of space to study the characteristics of the internal network and the mechanism of its effect on the innovation performance.Based on the dual embeddedness theory of internal social network and knowledge network,we propose that enterprise innovation is also embedded in the basic network to maintain the operation of an enterprise--the administrative network,various network which mutual trust and interaction constitute a harmonious network environment.Then we discusses that the role mechanism of the internal network on innovation performance is mainly from the perspective of middle managers.We find that individuals or groups in enterprises are involved in every aspect ofthe innovation process,while the middle managers are nodes in the network,which are more related to the figures in innovation activities.Middle managers play different roles in the internal network.They are innovators,knowledge managers,innovators,integrators,and relationship coordinators.These role effects have an important impact on innovation performance.By combing the theory,we put forward the research hypothesis of this paper.The empirical part of this study is to collect data from middle level managers through questionnaire survey,and the empirical test is carried out through SPSS.186 effective questionnaires were screened out.The empirical results effectively support the research hypothesis and draw the conclusions.Conclusion 1: The company's internal networks,including administrative networks,knowledge networks,and social networks,they all promote innovation performance.Conclusion 2: The role behavior of middle managers plays an intermediary role in the relationship between internal networks and innovation performance..The research results have practical guiding role in promoting enterprise innovation performance from the perspective of internal network and middle managers.
