Transactive memory systems refer to an advanced form of teamwork, which have a predictive effect on high-quality team output,so transactive memory systems have always been the focus of academic.A team with transactive memory systems, members trust each other, take charge of different areas of expertise, and work efficiently to accomplish the team's task by coordinating each area's expertise.Researches show that transactive memory systems enhance team learning and innovation ability, improve job satisfaction and team effectiveness. The most important thing is to bring high performance to teams or organizations. Therefore,it isof important theoretical and practical significance to deeply explore the formation mechanism of team transaction memory systems.Group faultlines are hypothetical dividinglines that may split a group into subgroups based on one or more attributes.Studies have shown that group faultlineshas a significant impact on transactive memory system, but there are major differences between the conclusions of the studies. This disagreement may be due to different types of faultlines and their impact paths and effects are different. Therefore further study onit's mechanismis indispensable. This paper reviewed research ertaining to the transactive memory systems and group faultlines,as well as social network.Based on these, the interrelation between different types of faultlines and transactive memory systems and transitive triads are analyzed. After that,we build the influence mechanism of group faultlines on transactive memory systems which is mediated by transitive triads.Subsequently, using the questionnaire survey method, conduct a pre-survey and formal surveys.we use SPSS22.0 and AMOS22.0 analysis the questionnaire data, test hypotheses and verify model assumptions. Finally, based on the conclusions of the empirical study,we offer some suggestions based on how the faultlines affects the transactive memory systems. The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Demographic Faultiness based on age and gender make no difference to the number of transitive triads and transactive memory systems;(2)Psychological faultlines based on personality and values will inhibit the establishment of transactive memory systems, the number of transitive triads mediate the influence of psychological faultlines on transactive memory systems;(3)Information-based faultlines caused by education and related work experience can significantly promote the establishment of an transactive memory system in the team, the number of transitive triads mediate the influence of psychological faultlines on transactive memory systems.
