As global competition intensifies and technology advances, organizations increasingly rely on teams as a tool to overcome challenges. The team,as a form of personnel organization, has a great competitive advantage in social activities. So how to improve the team performance has been a lot of attention, the key of which is to improve the ability to integrate knowledge. And the task of a team is always complex and changeable so that everyone in the team cannot master all the knowledge needed and complete the task independently. Therefore,in the process of completing the task, the team members must make the best efforts to communicate with each other in order to make full use of the team's knowledge resources and improve the team's ability of knowledge integration.Transactive memory system(TMS),which is a cooperative division of labor system based on the "cognitive-behavior" perspective,is helpful for team members to form effective cognition of team knowledge distribution,so TMS is applied to team performance, knowledge Sharing, organizational learning and many other aspects of the study.A mature TMS must be that team members have a comprehensive understanding of the structure of the team's overall knowledge. The structure of the team members' relationships is directly related to their acquisition of this knowledge. And this relationship is rooted in the social networks of team members. In addition, members who are in the social network are bound to be influenced by the atmosphere or the environment that all members of the network can perceive and recognize, and this atmosphere or environment is actually a psychological manifestation of all members of the group. Therefore, team members' behavioral motives are bound to be affected positively or negatively by the psychological factors of the members when they share their expertise and knowledge.Social identity theory is an important theory of social psychology in the study of individual behavior and collective behavior. It is used by many scholars to explain the behavioral motives of individuals in the team. For the team how to improve the team performance by communicating and collaborating on knowledge during the completion of the task, this paper introduces TMS and makes an empirical study on the interaction between TMS and team performance in the whole life cycle of the team from the perspective of the social network structure related to the communication form of the team members and the social identity theory related to the overall psychological emotion of the team members. In this study,35 teams of college students were experimented and questionnaires. The results are as follows:(1)TMS has played a positive role in team performance during the mission;(2)Social identity plays a positive role in team performance in the third phase of the task;the impact of TMS on team performance is negatively moderated by social identity during the task;(3)During the task, network density and centralization play positive roles in the team performance, and the impact of TMS on team performance is positively moderated by network density;the impact of TMS on team performance is negatively moderated by network centralization in the third phase of the task.
