In the short span of eighteen years in the new century,domestic network technology has been upgraded several grades,which motivates the grow up of e-commerce.The prosperity of e-commerce lays the foundation for the rise of third-party network payments.The rapid development of online payment has broken the inherent monopoly pattern of banks in the financial sector.With the continued expansion of third-party network payment,it began to form an impact on the traditional intermediary business and deposit and loan business of commercial banks.Under the background of interest rate marketization reform,commercial banks faced all unprecedented challenges.Based on the perspective of commercial banks,this paper analyzes the theoretical mechanism of the third-party network payment affecting the main business of commercial banks,and combines the empirical results to propose countermeasures for commercial banks.First,the article briefly introduced the development status,development history and profit model of third-party online payment,and the evolution of the relationship between third-party network payment and commercial banking.Secondly,it analyzes the influence mechanism and influence of the third-party network payment on commercial banks1 deposit and loan business and intermediary business.From the theoretical level,it analyzes the reasons why the third-party network payment affects the profitability of commercial banks.Then,the paper establishes a panel data model to study the relationship between third-party online payment and commercial bank profitability,and empirically validates the impact of third-party network payment on the profitability of commercial banks.Finally,combining with the empirical test results,it puts forward the countermeasures for commercial banks to deal with the impact of third-party network payment.Through the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,this paper proposes the following suggestions for commercial banks:First,strengthen cooperation with third-party network payment companies;Second,improve the construction of their own electronic payment channels;Third,actively explore the SME market;Fourth,Optimize the quality of intermediate business services;Fifth,strengthen the prevention and control of credit risk.
