Analysis Of The Efficiency Of Grain Production Factors In Henan Province

Agriculture stabilizes the society,grain security makes the country harmonious and stable.With a vast territory and a large population,Henan Province has become one of the country's major grain production core regions.Thanks to its unique geographical advantages and abundant natural resources such as production factors,Henan Province has become an important granary of the country.Absolute security has made a major contribution.However,the increase in total food production does not mean that absolute food security and production structure are absolutely reasonable.The year-on-year increase in the amount of grain inventories and imports indicates that there is an imbalance in production development in the current food production system.The current country's proposed structural reform strategy on the supply side of agriculture is an important measure to solve this problem.The adjustment of the production structure,the optimization of the input structure of the elements,the rational allocation of resources,and the improvement of the production technology efficiency are crucial to the development of grain production in Henan Province.Based on efficiency theory and agricultural resource allocation theory,the input-oriented DEA model was adopted to measure and analyze the grain production efficiency of Henan Province from the time and region levels.The optimized input structure of production elements for each decision-making unit was given;subsequently,based on the grey correlation analysis method.Analyze the impact of various factors on food production from different perspectives,and consider the actual effects of various types of influencing factors,and measure the contribution of grain yield,sown area,and structural adjustment to increase grain yield.The research results show that technological progress is the key driver to increase total factor productivity of grain in Henan Province;there are still certain efficiency losses in technical efficiency,and technical inefficiencies and scale invalidation have combined to constrain the improvement of grain comprehensive technical efficiency in Henan Province;the efficiency of allocation is not high.The major constraints to the cost-effectiveness of wheat production.At the influencing factor level,the correlation between input of various factors of production and grain yield is significant,and sowing and irrigated area are the key factors;grain factor in the development factors,development level of water conservancy infrastructure,industrialization degree and scale of operation of peasant households on food production efficiency The degree of influence is greater,the increase of government financial support for agriculture,the increase in the level of rural marketization,and the acceleration of urbanization will further promote the rationalization of the allocation structure of grain production factors and improve the overall efficiency of grain production technology;The sum of the sown area's contribution rate to grain production is stable at more than 90%,and the effect of adjustment of planting structure on grain production can not be ignored.Based on the above research,the following policy recommendations are put forward in light of the actual grain production in Henan Province: to improve the construction of grain production infrastructure and to lay a solid foundation for stabilizing grain production;to optimize the distribution of grain production;to adjust the grain production scale and input combination of production factors;and to increase the production factor technology Efficiency and allocation efficiency;Strengthen rural agricultural technology promotion training,improve the overall quality of the agricultural production labor force,improve technology and management level;Increase investment in agricultural science and technology innovation,increase the efficiency of transformation of agricultural science and technology achievements,make technical progress fully play a role in increasing grain production;The structural reform of the agricultural supply side will be further promoted,and efforts will be made from different sides at the same time.This will lead Henan Province to truly create a more efficient,more effective,and more sustainable food supply system.
