At present,China's agriculture is in the transition period from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. The mode of production of agriculture has begun to move from traditional peasant households production to intensive and large-scale production. The main body of agricultural production and management has also begun to develop from the traditional decentralized farmers to the new production and management subjects such as family farms, agricultural cooperatives, etc. However, peasant households are still the main body of agricultural production and management in our country.Individual peasant households are not only the main body of the development of modern agriculture in our country, but also the shackles of restricting the development of modern agriculture. How to realize the peasant households and modern agriculture Since the promulgation and implementation of the Farmers specialized Cooperative Law in 2007,agricultural cooperatives have flourished in the vast rural areas. This provides an important solution for realizing the docking between peasant households production and modern agriculture. This paper selects a rural case of realizing the organic link between small farmers and modern agriculture-the activity of "I HAVE A FIELD" activity in the town of Beizhai in Qingdao, where the local farmers spontaneously set up a land stock cooperative. It not only solves the problem of vegetable sales of individual farmers properly, increases economic income, but also stimulates farmers' consciousness of subjectivity and promotes the participation of dispersed farmers in the construction and development of villages.Using qualitative research methods such as field research, and under the analytical framework of rational choice theory, this paper analyzes the three stages of farmers' participation in case activities, from individual production to collective cooperation, with the behavior choice of individual farmers as the starting point. The behavior logic and influencing factors of individual farmers' behavior choice are followed in the process of participation towards comprehensive cooperation and multiple subjects' participation in interest disputes,so as to study how farmers participate in the new type of agricultural production and management by individual behavior choice. It is found that due to the heterogeneity of interest goals, resource endowment and social value pursuit among farmers participating in agricultural cooperatives, the behavior choices made by farmers follow different behavioral logic. The behavior choice of individual farmers is determined by a dominant rational demand. The degree of convergence between individual interests and collective interests affects the participation of individual villagers in collective action. The different individual interest demands restrict the scale and further development of the activity. The farmers' overall rational demand shows a changing trend of hierarchy, that is,from survival rationality to economic rationality to social rationality. At present, the economy Rationality is still the dominant factor of farmers' behavior choice.Through the study of farmers' behavior choice, from the point of view of practical effect, the activity of "I HAVE A FIELD" has effectively realized the organic link between small farmers and modern agriculture. Its successful experience also provides three inspirations for further guiding farmers to participate in modern agricultural production:first,to give play to the leading role of the rural elite,to guide the rational transformation of farmers, second,to ensure the relevant interests of farmers, and to respect the individual rationality of farmers; The third is to stimulate the main consciousness of farmers, condensed the collective rationality of farmers.
