When the rise of urbanization and industrialization in China has made remarkable achievements,the contradiction between development and utilization of territorial spatial and ecological civilization construction is increasingly prominent.Especially since the 18th CPC National Congress,the government has released a series of policy documents which require to reveal the land use suitability,restrict land development,strengthen the ecological protection of land,delimit the boundary line of "Production-Living-Ecological"(P-L-E)space according to the resources endowment,ecological conditions and environmental capacity.Against this background,it has great significance to take the research of "P-L-E" space suitability and put forward the pertinent optimal path.This paper refers to domestic and foreign relevant theory and practice,builds the"P-L-E" space research framework and the "P-L-E" space suitability evaluation index system based on the thorough analysis of "P-L-E" space concept connotation.Also,this paper takes one of the rapid urbanization area in south of Jiangsu-Yangzhong as a study area,puts forward the "P-L-E" space optimization path and policy suggestions combined with the general land use planning and the comparison between "P-L-E"space present situation and suitability evaluation result.The conclusion of this paper could be summarized as follow:(1)According to the orientation of concept of "P-L-E" space in this paper,the classification principle of "P-L-E" space is determined.From the perspective of land use function,it identifies the production,living,and ecological functions of land use types,and constructs a spatial classification system of "P-L-E",which takes the leading function as the primary principle of classification.Taking Yangzhong as study area,the research results shows that,production apace has regular shape and single typeliving space is relatively complex and highly discrete;ecological space is rich in type,single in quantity structure,complex in spatial shape.(2)The results of "P-L-E" space suitability evaluation shows that,production,living and ecological suitability in most area of Yangzhong are distributed in the relatively appropriate and the most suitable grade.The spatial structure of production space suitability level is obviously "block" and appropriate area are in flakes centralized.The spatial structure of living space suitability level is combination of"ring" and "block" with the highest suitability level distributed in town center.Thespatial structure of ecological suitability level which mainly presented by the inside-out step-like spheres of increment is obviously "ring" with the highest suitability level distributed along the river.(3)According to the consistent principle of land use planning,it puts forward the optimization path of "P-L-E" space in Yangzhong with the overlay analysis of present situation and suitability evaluation result.most area of Yangzhong are distributed among the suitable range,while 524.32 hectares of production space need to be adjusted to life and ecological space,1114.87 hectares of living space need to be adjusted to production and ecological space,1442.45 hectares of ecological space need to be adjusted to life and production space.Compared to general land use planning,optimal path of "P-L-E" space which can provide a reference for land use adjustment is consistent with land use planning.
