Research On The Coupling Coordination Between Tourism Efficiency And Economic Development Level In Ningxia

With the development of tourism,the comprehensive contribution of tourism to economy and society is becoming more and more prominent in Ningxia.Meanwhile,the utilization of tourism resources is unreasonable and needs to be improved.In 2016,Ningxia had became the second demonstration area of whole region tourism in China,it has become a national policy of our country to realize the harmonious development of tourism and economic society.It is a great theoretical and practical significance to explore the coupling and coordination relationship between tourism efficiency and economic development level in Ningxia.This study summarizes the research progress of tourism efficiency,coupling coordination degree,relationship between tourism and economic growth at home and abroad.It is guided by coupling coordination theory,regional economic development theory,system science theory and sustainable development theory.Taking the 19 counties in Ningxia as the study,this article using the DEA model,the methods of entropy weight and TOPSIS,coupling mode,coupling coordination degree model,the ArcGIS spatial analysis method and the SPSS 18.0 data analysis software,to analyzes the tourism efficiency,economic development level and the coupling coordination relationship between them from 2008 to 2016.This paper proposes a coupling coordination development strategy of tourism efficiency and economic development in Ningxia.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)During the nine years,the overall efficiency of tourism has been improving in Ningxia,but it is still at a low level,the average efficiency of comprehensive tourism is only 0.376,only the Yinchuan city has kept DEA effective.The level of technical efficiency is higher,the average efficiency value is 0.763.The average value of scale efficiency is 0.494,it has risen fluctuatingly,and the interannual change is large.In the space,the overall efficiency and decomposition efficiency of tourism are characterized by its from high to low is the northern,southern,and central regions.Most of the counties in Ningxia are still in the stage of increasing returns to scale,and it can gain more profit by continuing to expand the tourism factor input.(2)During the nine years,the overall index of economic development level in Ningxia is on a steady upward trend,and the average value increased from 0.194 to 0.204.According to the trend of the comprehensive index curve,the 19 counties are divided into three kinds:slow rising type,slow descending type and relatively gentle type.There is a positive correlation between the economic development level among counties in Ningxia.There is "club convergence" phenomenon,showing four kinds of autocorrelation types:high high,low low,high low and no significant.The natural geographical conditions,the human factors,the industrial structure,the government policy and the number of central cities are the factors that affect the economic development level of Ningxia,and the level of economic development is decreasing from north to south in space.(3)From 2008 to 2016,the average coupling degree of tourism efficiency and economic development level showed a fluctuating downward trend as a whole in Ningxia,with a small change,and the average coupling degree is 0.607,which is generally in the running-in stage.At the three time points in 2008,2012 and 2016,there are four stages of separation stage,antagonistic stage,running-in stage and high level coupling stage,and characterized by its lower from north to south.The coupling coordination degree of tourism efficiency and economic development level is low in Ningxia,but it has a steady rising trend,and keeps the moderate coordination stage.The coupling coordination degree in the northern region is obviously higher than that in the central and southern regions.The coupling degree and coupling coordination degree of the two systems in the 19 counties have no correspondence in space,and they can be classified into 8 types.(4)This study combined with the actual situation of tourism and economic development level in Ningxia,and puts forward the coupling coordination development strategy of tourism efficiency and economic level from the two perspectives of the whole area and different types of comprehensive coupling relationship.
