The Analysis Of Blockchain Technology On Enterprise In The Segment Of Logistics

As the development of China's economy and the e-commerce deepen and extend,the logistics industry is also flourishing quickly.logistics is a crucial segment in the operation of enterprises,which penetrates in all activities in enterprises' daily operation,such as procurement,manufacture and sales.The modern supply chain requires a more united and more automated system,which means from suppliers to manufacturer,or from manufacturer to agent,the management of logistics should be more closely monitored.In the case we studied,we found there are some deficiencies of company's logistics activity.The procurement of raw material may lag behind the process of manufacture,and the flow of material also delays sometimes between workshops.The logistics management system is not informationized,which means the processes of logistics and transportation are not transparent enough.If introduce blockchain into logistics management,the advantages of decentralization and distributed ledgers would make the flow of materials quicker,secure the transactions,promote transparency and eliminate the expenses of centralized server and labor.Blockchain technology seems a solution to the deficiencies of enterprises' logistic management.Jiangsu ZUZEM Valve Corporation is planning to establish a blockchain logistics system,and this paper's aim is to find an available scheme to achieve the system.We start with the analysis of the deficiencies in the enterprise's logistics management and the requirement of developed modern logistics system.Combined with the characteristic,principle and technology details of blockchain,we design a preliminary plan of blockchain logistics management system.This paper structures the whole system in two parts:internal blockchain system and external blockchain system,and discuss about the utility of the system in the process of orders management,procurement management,inventory management and other specific scenarios.This paper also creatively proposes a new consensus mechanism and a new scheme of storage.At the end of this paper,we analyze the specific path of how blockchain bring economic benefit to enterprises' logistics segments.
