Supply Chain Finance(SCF)refers to use financing,risk mitigation and techniques to optimize working capital and liquidity invested in supply chain processes and transactions.China's supply chain finance market in 2020 is expected to have a market size of 27 trillion in the Supply Chain Finance Industry Development Trend Report of 2018.With multiple stakeholders and business transactions,supply chains finance is ineffective.A large number of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs)have experienced difficulties in financing because the trade flow is not visible to the finance provider.There are also many challenges,including the exclusion of many SMEs and limited financing options.Banks and other types of lenders believe that SME financing is a risky business due to the lack of an automated infrastructure that understands the financial situation of SMEs in real time.The SCF process flow is inefficient and it is lack of trust among participants.Blockchain Technology is a distributed ledger which can record exchanges of logistics information and accounting information between parties in the supply chain securely.It is the technology underlying cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.The blockchain driven SCF platform enables the material,information and financial flows of SCF traceability,immutability and visibility which let all partners can benefit from this digital platform.This thesis tries to design a blockchain-driven supply chain finance platform led by a Logistics Service Provider(LSP).LSP can continuously monitor the moving of goods,so they have much data about logistics.Risks are more visible to LSP.The thesis tries to answer what are the challenges that SCF met and how blockchain contribute to SCF.The thesis tries to design the operation process flow,system architecture map of blockchain driven SCF platform led by an LSP.
