Study Of The Impact Of Certification Authority's Service Innovation On Enterprise Standardization

With the prosperity of the strategy of reinvigorating China through quality management development,and the development of national quality infrastructure construction,quality competition among Chinese enterprises has become significant content of marketing competition.National quality infrastructure includes three elements:Standards,metrology and conformity assessment.Certification authority is the subject of conformity assessment,while enterprise is one of the subjects of standard construction.How certification authority effects enterprise standardization is a valuable question to answer.This study starts from this question,adding enterprise regulatory focus as moderator to explore the effect from certification authority to enterprise standardization.Study selects middle and senior managers who serves in quality management department of enterprise as respondents.First we conduct pretest,results of data analysis show that all scales have acceptable reliability and validity to be used in formal test.Then in formal test,we test the hypotheses model.The outcomes reveals as 3 points:(1)4 dimensions of certification authority's service innovation effect positively on enterprise standardization.(2)Promotion focus positively moderates the effects between certification authority's technological option innovation and enterprise standardization.(3)Prevention focus positively moderates the effects between certification authority's concept innovation and enterprise standardization.This study demonstrates conformity assessment has positive effect on development of standards,benefiting the development of national quality infrastructure construction.We strengthen moderating role of enterprise regulatory focus,offering specific suggestions for service innovation in certification authority.To a certain extent,we enrich research of enterprise level regulatory focus and enterprise standardization.
