Study On The Utilization Of Foreign Capital In The Construction Of Laos Transportation Infrastructure

The construction of traffic infrastructure is the first capital of a country's economic development,which is self-evident to the importance of economic growth and the development of the national economy.Laos,as the only landlocked country in Southeast Asia,has no direct access to the ocean.Its transportation infrastructure is very underdeveloped and its economic development level is relatively low.Therefore,the weakness of traffic infrastructure has become a bottleneck restricting the economic development of Laos.Although Laos itself has a relatively low level of economic growth,its growth has been good in recent years,so Laos' s economic development has a very broad prospect and has a good attraction for foreign capital.Therefore,it is more feasible to use and introduce foreign capital in order to solve the problem of weak infrastructure.The purpose of this paper is to study the current situation of the construction and utilization of foreign capital in the construction of Laos,and to analyze its own investment environment.Then it analyses the problems that exist in the process of utilizing foreign capital.By learning from the experience of transportation infrastructure development and developing countries with similar status,we can provide references and suggestions for foreign investment in transport infrastructure construction in Laos,with a view to better development of transport infrastructure in Laos.
