Research On Individual Unsfe Behavior Of Construction Workers Based On Goal Orientation

The unsafe behavior of workers as the main cause of construction safety accidents has always been a hot spot in the research of safety management.At present,researchs on the unsafe behavior of the construction workers are mainly focused on the cause of accident,the influencing factors and the treatment of unsafe behavior.Although there are more analysis on the intrinsic motivation of the unsafe behavior in the accident cause theory,most of them still remain in the shallow level of "unsafe behavior of people",the direction of "unsafe state of the object" and "lack of cognition",there is a lack of internal motivation for construction workers.The literature analysis shows that,based on the theory of achievement motivation and the theory of social cognition,the individual behavior of the workers will be influenced by the external and internal different goals,which are mainly directed by learning goal orientation and performance goal orientation at the individual level.It is important to study workers' unsafe behaviors from the perspective of goal orientation,which is important for further deepening the internal causes of construction workers' unsafe behaviors.In this regard,this paper adopts the method of combining theoretical research with empirical analysis.First of all,the related factors that affect individual safety behaviors of construction workers are summarized.Through the theory of social cognition and achievement motivation,the three intermediate variables of workers' individual learning goal orientation and performance goal oriented through safety ability,safety cognition and safety attitude are obtained,which indirectly affect the safety compliance and safety participation behavior of the workers.Based on the above theoretical analysis,the relationship between goal orientation and construction workers' individual unsafe behavior is constructed,and the research hypotheses related to this research are put forward.Then,after a large number of domestic and foreign literature on the design of scale design,combined with the construction industry and construction workers' own characteristics,a measurement scale suitable for this study is designed,and a questionnaire is carried out.In order to ensure the rationality of scale design,small sample test is carried out in this study.In the small sample test,a total of 80 questionnaires are distributed,and 64 valid questionnaires are recovered.Then,this study selects 9 construction projects in Shenzhen and Ningbo,which are in different stages of construction.480 questionnaires are issued,and 360 questionnaires are effectively recovered.Then,SPSS22.0 and AMOS21.0 software are used to test the reliability and validity of the collected data,the factor load and the combination reliability analysis,and the EFA and CFA analysis.This makes most of the hypotheses of the model verified.The results of the revised model show that both the learning goal orientation and the performance goal orientation have a significant positive effect on safety cognition and safety attitude.Learning goal orientation has the strongest influence on safety ability,followed by safety cognition and safety attitude.There is no significant relationship between performance goal orientation and safety capability.Safety attitude has the greatest influence on safety compliance behavior and safety participation behavior,followed by safety cognition and safety ability.Finally,combined with the model analysis and research conclusions,this paper puts forward the measures and suggestions: strengthening the guiding role of the workers' goal orientation,taking the safety attitude of the workers as the core,improving the cognition level of the workers' safety and improving the workers' safety ability as the grasp.It is expected that the conclusions of this research will play a certain role in construction safety management practice.
