The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that the main social contradictions in our country have been transformed into “contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people's ever-growing needs for a better life”,and the unbalanced development of urban and rural areas is an important aspect of unbalanced development. The unbalanced development has already constrained the people's growing need for a better life, and the widening income disparity between urban and rural residents is an important aspect that restricts people's need for a better life. This article studies the causes of the residents' income distribution and the interaction between them and the urban and rural coordinated development through the perspective of coordinated urban-rural development.Through the analysis of the income distribution situation of urban and rural residents, the causes of urban and rural residents' income distribution and their impacts, the following main conclusions can be drawn: First, the conclusion of the income distribution of urban and rural residents, and The gap of urban-rural income is large and is further expanding, reflected by the per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents. At the same time, from the dynamic perspective, the effect of intergenerational transmission on each income quintile in cities and towns is more obvious than in rural areas. The second is the conclusion about the causes of the income distribution of urban and rural residents. From the perspective of Marx's theory of the same production and distribution, the differences in the production methods of industry and agriculture cause differences in the income distribution pattern between urban residents and rural residents;from the theory of industrialization of agriculture It can be seen that the differences between urban and rural infrastructures have led to difficulties in the modernization of rural areas and the industrialization of agriculture. This has led to a greater income gap between urban and rural areas and urban and rural wage income and property income. The redistributive function of urban and rural areas,to a certain extent, has affected urban and rural areas, and it has played a positive role to the expansion of the income gap.The parent's years of education have a significant impact on the mobility of intergenerational income, which in turn causes a rural-urban income gap.The third is the conclusion about the impact of income distribution gap between urban and rural residents. The widening urban-rural income gap has slowed the growth rate of fixed-asset investment in rural households and has had a negative impact on the production of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries, and has changed the planting structure of agriculture. It has a tendency to be monotonous;the widening income gap between urban and rural areas will lead to an increase in the urban and rural residents' consumption gap,and will have an important impact on the upgrading of rural residents' consumption structure, which will in turn affect the improvement of their living standards;the urban-rural income gap will promote the process of urbanization. And hindering the two roles, excessive disparities make the hindrance role a major aspect. On the basis of the above research,we will further propose policies and recommendations: First, vigorously implement the strategy of rural revitalization and promote the development of agriculture and rural areas;Second, better play the role of redistribution and narrow the income distribution gap;Third, promote fair education in urban and rural areas and promote intergenerational mobility to narrow the income gap;Fourth, rationally regulate the distribution of income, and help agricultural modernization and urbanization.
