| In recent years, with the rapid development of communications and technology, consumer electronics has created a new market for smart phones, tablet computers and other new markets. The consumer electronics industry is very active in emerging markets and its market share has grown rapidly. The replacement of consumer electronics products is fast, and the time from design and development to the market is getting shorter and shorter, and its R&D difficulty is increasing geometrically. In order to meet market demand, companies can shorten time to market and increase product innovation through effective design-chain management. At the same time,it can reduce R&D costs and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. Therefore, the management and optimization of the design chain of consumer electronics products has been highly valued by the academic community and companies. However, due to the impact of economic globalization, the specialization of labor division and the scientific and technical revolution, most enterprises no longer have sufficient resources to fully grasp the entire R&D and design activities of products.By integrating all main bodies directly related to product development including suppliers, some enterprises establish a multi-enterprises collaborative product design platform, which in some degree reduces the difficulty of product development. However, member enterprises have so many differences in design culture, design process and design environment that the coordination of enterprises in design activities becomes difficult to work.Meanwhile, each period of the five life cycles of consumer electronics has its own characteristics and all can affect product R&D decisions. Therefore, enterprises in R&D activities are susceptible to coordination difficulties, irrational process location and cycle factors, which leads to the delay of the product listing or even the collapse of the entire design chain. In order to integrate design resources better, and construct a highly efficient and stable design chain process, the paper will analyze and study the consumer electronics products design chain from the following four aspects.First of all,on the basis of presenting something preface of this research project, including the research significance, current study situation at home and abroad, the research approach, content and possible innovations, this paper defines the concepts of the consumer electronic product, the whole lifecycle of product, the design chain and the design chain process of consumer electronic products.Secondly, the paper analyzes the characteristics of the design chain process of consumer electronic products, and respectively describes the processes of consumer electronic product design chain from the view of Part of the cycle and under the concept of whole lifecycle. And then, based on the Petri Net theory, two design chain processes the above mentioned are modeled and their performance is also analyzed. Finally, this paper comparatively analyzes the processes of the design chain of consumer electronic products in those two perspectives, and obtains the idea of optimizing the process of consumer electronic products' design chain according to the analysis results,it is proved that the design chain of consumer electronic products is more advantageous in the whole life cycle.which provides the reference for the enterprises to construct the products' design chains.According to the research above,The idea of the optimization of the design process of consumer electronic products under the perspective of the whole life cycle is obtained, and the practicality of the model is verified and the research implications are given. This method can provide some reference and optimization to those enterprises that has unreasonable R&D and design process, unsmooth multi-enterprises cooperative relationships and low integration of design resources. In this way,the efficiency of new product development can be improved, the share of design resources can be achieved, the R&D costs can be reduced, the period of product listing can be shortened, and customer satisfaction can be improved. |
