China has abundant marine resources and a large number of islands,including 12 islands and counties.The island's independent geographical environment,fragile ecological environment and limited resources makes their spatial development mainly oriented to the Gulf.At the same time,with the development of the urban development stage,the development and utilization of the marine resources will change gradually.The principle of profit making determines the objective law of the island county(District)gradually approaching to the advanced marine resources in the process of urban space development.Dongshan County is located in the southern part of Zhangzhou city of Fujian province.It is one of the 12 island counties in the country.It has a long history and cultural heritage and excellent marine resources.In recent years,with the implementation of the development strategy of the city group in the global tourism era,national new urbanization construction,Belt and Road Initiative strategy implementation and put forward the construction of ecological civilization of socialism,the CPC Zhangzhou Municipal Committee proposed to focus on building the central city and town group ring of Dongshan Island,the Dongshan County as a comprehensive The social and economic development of Dongshan County will usher in unprecedented development opportunities.As a super large economy,the main industry is directly related to the sustainable development of the island county(District).The different types of the leading industries often determine the development of the county space.However,the independent geographical location,the extremely fragile ecological environment and the relatively scarce resources of the island county have put forward strict restrictions on the choice of the leading industries,and the path of the county space development is more clear.On the other hand,as a unique geographical block and a distinct historical and cultural accumulation in the inland,the island county(District)determines its spatial pattern with distinctive regional characteristics.In the future construction of the city,it should inherit the historical context and highlight the cultural background so as to avoid the city problem of the one side of the city.Based on the above research background,this paper first reviews the relevant theories of urban spatial structure at home and abroad and urban spatial organization in coastal areas.Secondly,it analyzes the development status of the county town in Dongshan County,summarizes the historical evolution law of its spatial development,and analyzes its evolution characteristics.At the same time,it draws the conclusion that the spatial development of the town is always limited to the inland hinterland,and is in the early stage of "T" type structure,and the main influencing factors of the development of the town space in Dongshan County are macro policy guidance.The space demand to the development of the leading industry.Through the analysis and comparison of the industrial development of Dongshan County and other island counties(District)and the ring Dongshan Economic Zone,the paper deeply analyzes the
