Research On The Union Recycling Model Of Waste Cell Phone Based On The Preferences Of Residents

Data from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that as of November,2017,the number of China's mobile phone users reached 1.4 billion.Accordingly,the consumption rate of the mobile phone and the replacement frequency are also gradually accelerated.With the popularization of smartphones and mobile internet,residents are increasingly pursuing the fashion and multi-functionalization of mobile phones.The mobile phone replacement cycle is also reduced,resulting in the number of used mobile phones increased year by year.Abandoned mobile phones contain abundant recyclable resources,and reasonable recovery will save a lot of resources for enterprises and society.Once improperly handled,they would enter the natural environment and pose serious threats to air,soil,water and human health.Recycling of used mobile phones involves the level of social sustainable development and people's life safety.In recent years,it has drawn more and more attention from scholars and has gradually become a research hotspot in academia.In some developed countries and regions,waste mobile phone recycling activities were started earlier,and a more complete recovery model such as fixed-point collection and directed recycling have been established.At present,China is implementing multi-channel recycling and centralized processing model.Despite the stringent control over the handling of the used mobile phone trades,the informal recovery continues to dominate as far as recovery channels are concerned,greatly influencing the operating of formally handling enterprises.In addition,the state regulates the behavior of individuals in the informal channels with difficulty.Recycled mobile phones are often refurbished and re-sold,or simply disassembled to extract useful metals and discarded as wastes,not only damaging the rights and interests of consumers but also causing serious pollution to the environment.In view of this,building a scientific and reasonable recovery model is not only to improve the business situation of the processor,but also to protect the rights and interests of consumers and achieve sustainable development in China.Based on the relevant theories and the research status both at home and abroad,this article studies the problems of waste cell phone recycling in China according to the idea of recycling model building and recycling decision-making.First of all,from a social point of view,based on the value chain theory and stakeholder theory,we have constructed a joint recovery model that includes residents,third-party logistics companies,mobile phone processors and the government.Residents as the supply side of used mobile phones are the starting point of the joint recovery model,which provides raw materials for the operation of the following processes.Third-party logistics companies play the role of a link between residents and processors,transferring mobile phones to processors through their own logistics system.As a result,processors gain a stable source of supply and can concentrate on the disposal of used mobile phones.In order to ensure the operation of the joint recovery model,the government supervises and manages the model and irregularly checks the operation of the enterprise.Under the joint recovery model,the handling capacity of the processing companies and the logistics capabilities of the third-party logistics enterprises are reasonably complemented,reducing the operating costs of the entire system and achieving a win-win situation for enterprises,consumers and society.Secondly,using the method of joint analysis,this paper conducts an empirical research on residents' preferences of the joint recovery model,which provides a reference for enterprises to establish a joint recovery model.Through the preresearch and semi-structured interviews,five attributes of the joint recovery model that residents consider importantly are identified including recovery method,recovery price,convenience,compensation method and information service.Then 16 kinds of recovery model are determined by orthogonal design.Later,empirical research on the residents' preference of choice and the market share of different recovery models are analyzed.The research results show that: the influencing factors of consumer's participation are the compensation method,the recovery price,the convenience degree,the information service and the recovery method according to the degree of importance,and the resident's preference for each attribute level and the reason are analysis in detail.The result of the market share forecast shows that the recovery model with the recovery price higher than 300 and settled by cash can all obtain the market share higher than 10%,and the recovery mode with the recovery price lower than 300 and settled by commodity or express coupon basically do not cause residents' attention.In the end,based on the long-term operation of the joint recovery model,this paper proposes the decisionmaking suggestion of the joint recovery model,and provides a theoretical reference for the development of the joint recovery model.
