Major scientific research projects aim at major problems at the forefront of science,major technical problems in social production,and other important issues that need to be addressed in economic and social operations.The project team needs to cross-integrate knowledge across multiple disciplines and integrate innovation to complete project tasks.However,in practice,major scientific research project teams are facing difficulties in cooperation: first,there is not close contact between members or multiple task forces,and the so call teamwork is only a simple addition of multiple task forces without cooperation throughout the entire project process;second,the inovative results cannot match the project's initial objectives completely,and there are few independent innovation achievements with major impacts,the supporting role for national science and technology development and sustainable social development is relatively limited as well.This dilemma shows that the quality of major scientific research project teamwork needs to be improved.Team interaction is an important activity in the team cooperation process.The interaction process reflects the actual cooperation situation within the team.On the other hand,team trust is an important factor for team cooperation,which greatly influences the behavior choices of the task forces and members,and thus profoundly affects the team's cooperation atmosphere.So,how does team interaction affect the teamwork quality in the process of cooperation inside major research projects? What role does team trust play in it? These will be questions that this article needs to explore.In the perspective of team interaction,this paper examines the internal cooperation of major research project teams from the team level.On the foundation of former theoretical results,this paper has clearly defined three key concepts,team interaction,team trust,and teamwork quality.Based on interactive theory,it explores whether team member's interaction influences and how it affects the quality of major scientific research project's teamwork.It has introduced team trust as a mediator between team interaction and teamwork quality,and proposes a theoretical model and serval research hypotheses.On the basis of the theoretical model,this paper collected 143 valid questionnaires through questionnaires.Through valid statistical analysis of the collected data,the research hypothesis was verified.The results show that:(i)Major scientific research project team interaction has a significant positive effect on its teamwork quality.(ii)Major scientific research project team interaction has a significant positive impact on team trust.(iii)Major scientific research project's team trust has a significant positive impact on t its teamwork quality.(iv)Team trust plays a mediating role in the influence of team interaction on teamwork quality in major scientific research project teams.Finally,the research results have been detailed discussed.Focus on how researchers can achieve teamwork quality improvement through better interaction,this paper puts forward feasible suggestions for the future collaborative management of major research project teams.
