Technological developments have intensified interconnectivity in the global sphere leasing to increased complexity and diversification of both markets and workplaces. Therefore, organizations must deal with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.Due to these facts, pursuing innovation has become increasingly challenging for present-day organizations. The importance of employees' capability to produce both novel and useful ideas within multicultural environments is crucial.Hence companies need it not only to succeed but to survive in today's worldwide market.Creative ideas produced within multiculturality respond accordingly to the complexity of current markets and enrich organizations. This dissertation seeks to understand more deeply the relationship between Perspective-taking,Cultural Intelligence, and Creativity. This study argues that individuals' Cultural Intelligence not only increases their capacity to produce creative ideas that require drawing knowledge upon dissimilar backgrounds, but it is positively associated with their Perspective-taking,enabling them to avoid the possible damage of a disharmonious environment thus effectively benefiting from it.Exploring the existing theoretical gap between Cultural Intelligence theory and Creativity can be beneficial to understand the relationship between cultural diversity and its benefits on creativity while providing remarkable knowledge on how to enhance the potential of an individual's creativity in a multicultural context. To support the proposed thesis statement,a descriptive,non-experimental selfadministered network survey, containing a Multicultural Remote Associates Test, has been conducted. The results of the study show significant findings.First,Motivational CQ and Behavioral CQ,two of the four dimensions of Cultural Intelligence, are strong predictors of Multicultural Creativity.Second, all four dimensions of Cultural Intelligence are positively associate with Perspective-taking.Third,the number of years spent abroad does not have a direct effect on Multicultural creativity;by contrast,to currently live in a foreign country, which has a positive impact to the ability to combine knowledge from various cultures. Finally, the cognitive knowledge about foreign cultures(Cognitive CQ)has weak influence with creativity enhancement. These findings, supported by empirical data, pose significant implications to Cultural Intelligence and Creativity literatures and have practical implications when facing the urgent necessity of cross-cultural collaboration to innovate and achieve a harmonious and prosperous world that includes everyone equally.
