Research On Approach And Effect For Vendor Managed Inventory In General Procurement Of M Company

Vendor managed inventory is an advanced form of management,which can optimize the inventory management in the supply chain,improve the speed of the supply chain,and achieve a win-win situation for both upstream and downstream enterprises.In developed countries,this inventory management practice has been a great success.Some enterprises in China have gradually realized the significance of this advanced model and put it into practice.Practice proves the obvious advantages of vendor management inventory in the enterprise cost and the.Based on the detailed introduction of the theory of Vendor Managed Inventory(VMI),this paper makes a deep study on the inventory management methods of supply chain management,and takes M company as the research object.M is a joint venture manufacturer of aviation composite materials,a leader in the manufacture of domestic aerospace composites.Through the analysis of the current situation of M company and the current indirect material inventory management problems,according to the theoretical knowledge and practical experience,aiming at the problems of company M the amount of inventory,take up a lot of cash flow,the procurement process is complex.The overall solution of VMI optimization is put forward and implemented,and the timely replenishment is realized on the basis of information sharing,and the cost is reduced.Then,the quantitative evaluation of the initial operation stage of VMI is carried out,and the results of quantitative evaluation prove the correctness and benefit of the implementation of VMI decision.And in the follow-up work,we can adjust the plan according to the real-time evaluation results.Finally,this paper analyzes the possible risks in the implementation of VMI,and puts forward the risk prevention measures.The implementation of a new management style is a process of continuous innovation in practice and summing up experience.This paper first implements the indirect material management method using VMI in China.M company VMI management of indirect material model,there are some aspects that can be further improved,the results of this study can provide guidance for the follow-up work.
