Study On The Influencing Factors Of Farmers' Willingness To Establish A Family Farm In Huaibin County Of Henan Provience

With the rapid advancement of industrialization and urbanization in China,small-scale and fragmented agricultural production methods based on household contract has gradually shown the problems of high cost,low benefit and poor risk-resisting ability,which cann't meet the needs of modern agricultural development.On the other hand,due to the change of economic and social environment,the enthusiasm of farmers for agricultural production has gradually reduced,most of the farmers choose to go out to work and do business etc,so that the rural land has a large amount of idle waste,rural agricultural development is facing severe test.Therefore,in order to better solve the problem of rural agricultural development,to ensure that less and less land to feed more and more people,the implementation of agricultural scale management becomes an inevitable choice.As a form of agricultural scale management,family farm accords with the demands of the development of China's productive forces and is the direction of future agricultural development.With the family farm system being promoted throughout the country,how to better promote the development of family farms has become the focus of attention in politics and academia.Farmers,as the main body of agricultural production,is also a potential individual to set up a family farm,whose establishment intention is the most crucial and basic factor to restrict the development of family farms.Under the guidance of the national top design policy,the development of family farms cann't be forced,it is necessary to respect the wishes of farmers' development.Knowing the wishes of farmers and analyzing the influencing factors of their wishes has great significance for improving the relative policies and promote the development of family farms.This paper chooses Huaibin County of Henan Province as the study area,and farmers as the study object,first,based on reading a lot of literature,this research trends of family farms at home and abroad are summarized,and the related concepts and theories were introduced,the theory mainly includes: The theory of agricultural scale management,theory of land circulation,theory of farmers' reasoned action,theory of planned behavior.Secondly,conduct field visits to farmers and related departments in huaibin county Through the questionnaire survey,interviews and other means.and on this basis,the development status as well as problems of family farm in Huaibin County are described.Then,a statistical analysis of 251 valid sample data obtained from the survey was conducted,including the analysis of individual characteristics,analysis of family characteristics and external environmental factors.Finally,based on the theory of farmers' reasoned action,and combining with the actual investigation,the variable selection and logistic model are constructed,and The regression results were analyzed by using spss21.0 software to analyze the influencing factors of farmers' willingness to set up family farms.Based on the statistical analysis of the survey data of 251 farmers in Huaibin County,the following conclusions are drawn: The concept of family farms is still relatively unfamiliar to farmers,and their enthusiasm for setting up family farms is not high,and their willingness is not strong,the intention to founder only accounted for 38.25% of the total number of samples,Based on further analysis of the reasons,the main reasons for the willingness to establish family farms are to enjoy government policies,solve employment problems for themselves and their families,and increase household income.The main reasons for lack of willingness are lack of production management techniques,insufficient labor force,and fear of not making money.The regression results of logistic model are as follows:(1)Age,the health status of farmers,the number of farming population,the existing tillage area,the level of agricultural mechanization,the ease of borrowing funds and land circulation,the influence of climate change in recent years have a significant impact on farmers' willingness to establish family farms,Among them,the health status of peasant households,the number of household farming population,the existing tillage area,the level of agricultural mechanization,the ease of borrowing funds and land circulation are significant positive effects on farmers' establishment intention,age,the influence of climate on agricultural yield and income in recent years has a significant negative impact on farmers' establishment intention.(2)The Farmers' sex,educational level,whether someone is a village cadre in the family,receiving the training of agricultural technology,the difficulty of land circulation,the state of agricultural infrastructure and the understanding of farmers on family farm support policies have no significant influence on the farmers' willingness to set up family farms.
