This study aims to examine the effect of Team Leader OCB on Team Employee In-Role Performance and its mechanism including team employee's Collective Team Identification and Leader Identification as mediators.Based on Social Identity Theory and relevant researches,we establish multilevel hypothesis models about the effect of Team Leader OCB on Team Employee In-Role Performance.Investigation by supervisor-subordinate matching questionnaire were carried out to collect data.Finally,29 team's valid data were collected.These hypothesis models were tested by valid data from 29 team,results show:(1)Team Leader OCB including it's two dimensions have a significant positive impact on Team Employee In-Role Performance;(2)Collective Team Identification has significant cross-level mediation effect between Team Leader OCB including it's two dimensions and Team Employee In-Role Performance;(3)Leader Identification has significant cross-level mediation effect between Team Leader OCB including it's two dimensions and Team Employee In-Role Performance;(4)Collective Team Identification and Leader Identification have significant cross-level mediation effect between Team Leader OCB including it's two dimensions and Team Employee In-Role Performance at the same time.This study has several theoretical contributions and management inspirations.For theoretical contribution,This study examine the effect of Team Leader OCB on Team Employee In-Role Performance,which is a beneficial complement to concrete content of the research paradigm about team leader OCB and team effectiveness and team leadership theory;Also,this study examine relevant mechanism based on Social Identity Theory,which could enhance explanatory power of this theory in team work context.For management inspiration,in the practice of team management,team leader should act out a higher standard OCB to promote team employee's identification of different forms,and then promote their in-role performance.Accordingly,senior manager should inspect the level of team leader's OCB in selection process and maintain it in a higher standard by relevant management methods to promote team and organization effectiveness.The deficiency and prospect of this study are discussed.
