In the era of network information explosion,more and more people choose to screen information efficiently by means of payment.Knowledge payment has gradually become a hot topic in public life.With the maturity of China's economy,the middle class and above groups are growing stronger,the overall level of consumption in the country increases,and the willingness to pay for high-quality content increases accordingly.Many platforms that connect users and content producers are spawned.After the first year of 2016,many platforms and keynote speakers have entered the market to promote a series of knowledge-based payment products.Capital injection has rapidly increased the volume of knowledge-based payment.After the blowout development since 2017,knowledge-based payment has achieved excellent performance and gradually matured.The upgrading of technical conditions,the change of user's payment habits,class anxiety,knowledge parter and other factors have contributed to the development of knowledge payment.The knowledge payment products represented by Himalayan FM,Fenda,Zhihu,Dedao and Ten point reading have their own outstanding performances.Each of them has found a healthy business model.Among them,sales of Himalayas 123 Knowledge Carnival reached 196 million,and the subscription volume of "Mimeng Teaches you to make 50,000 per month" was more than 50,000 in one day.Xue Zhaofeng's "Economics class of Peking University" opened in Beijing also had more than 200,000 subscriptions.Major platforms actively explore the product form and profit model.Carrier form of payment product are diverse.The characteristics of audio frequency,image and text,live broadcasting are different.Payment content is wide,diverse,rich,and profit models are diverse.At the same time,the existing problems are also exposed,and the related disputes about knowledge payment are also rising and falling.With the improvement of content copyright environment and the improvement of content supervision measures,the favorable macro environment promotes the development of knowledge payment new economy,and the future development trend of knowledge payment gradually appears.The purpose of this paper is to make an objective inventory of the field of knowledge payment through qualitative and quantitative research methods,to study and analyze the different kinds of ways to realize knowledge payment and the rules and methods that can be followed in the process of realization.In the field of knowledge payment,there are some problems,such as unsatisfactory user expectations,low repurchase rate and completion rate,difficult to build knowledge system,low learning efficiency,and limitations of audio and video as the main media of knowledge payment.In view of the problems existing in the process of knowledge payment,this paper puts forward creative solutions such as basing on content value,focusing on operation and service,verticalizing and deepening the exploration of knowledge payment value,innovating and perfecting business model.Strive to provide references for practitioners and contribute to the industry.
