The Projtct Management Improving Of C Company Based On The CMMI System

This thesis describes the application and research of CMMI in the management of ICT software development projects in C company's RD department briefly.Since the implementation of CMMI has been taken by the CMCT's RD department,overall,the plan of the project to ICT software develop has been more transparent and the whole progress has been more assured.The PM are more involved in the requirement changing,progress control and resource balance in order to understand and control the actual progress of the project more deeply.Software defects were discovered earlier in project,the rework in late-stage was reducing,the quality of software was ensuring better,and the risk after the going online of the system was lower.The communication between technicians and project manager is better facilitated,it makes the developers understand the business needs better,and they can take advantage of the initiative of technical staff in developing requirements.The requirements are more accurate and specific.By investing,analyzing,tracing and managing the requirement,ensuring the integrity of business requirements and making the software more relevant to the actual needs of the business department.This also has improved the whole level of information services of the C company's RD department.Of course,C company's RD department has also met many problems in the process of applying CMMI to project management.The thesis analyzed the problems met during the implementation of CMMI,in order to locating the problem more effectively,the auther gained the department's staffs' view of the bottlenecks of CMMI applying in C company's RD department project management by interview.The auther analyzes the problems and causes of the project data and interview results.After further interviews and research,it forms certain improvement measures and methods.It proposes improvement suggestions based on the analysis of multi-year project actual data,and clearly identifies continuous improvement,adheres to measurement and analysis,and solves problems.CMMI applied effective methods to the problems in C company's RD department project management,and actually started to implement improvements.At present,it has achieved certain results and effectiveness.
