After more than ten years sustained and rapid growth,China's beer consumption has now become saturated and has declined in the last three years.The open competition in the beer market and the serious homogenization in the domestic beer market have led to increasingly fierce competition in the current market.In the past,the era of gaining competitive advantage by lowering prices and seizing market terminals at lower prices is drawing to an end.If the company want to increase sales and increase economic benefits,the company must improve quality and meet the personalized and differentiated needs of consumers.The profitability of Beijing Yanjing Brewery Co.,Ltd.has been declining since2014 due to the combination of multiple unfavorable factors such as increased competition in the industry and increasingly saturated consumption.Through a comprehensive analysis of the company's profitability,this paper finds out the root cause of the company's profitability problem and puts forward targeted solutions,aiming to better promote the company's operation and development.This paper first introduces the background,problems,contents and methods of the research,then explains the theory and specific analysis methods of profitability,and then analyzes the profitability through the data of Beijing Yanjing Brewery Co.,Ltd.In the process of profitability analysis,this paper first makes a general analysis of the representative profitability indicators such as sales net profit rate,return on total assets in merchandise operation,asset operation and capital operation on the basis of summarizing the sales volume,operating income and earnings condition of the company through the comparative analysis method and trend analysis method,and then takes the return on net assets as the core and uses DuPont analysis to analyze profitability comprehensively.After that the paper compares profitability indicators with the average level of the industry to judge the position of the company's profitability in the industry.Then the paper analyzes the quality of the company's profitability with the cash operation index and net cash to sales income as representative indicators.According to the research results,the paperconcludes the problems existing in the company's profitability.Finally,the paper analyzes the causes of the problems and puts forward corresponding promotion strategies accordingly.Based on the evaluation and research on the profitability of Beijing Yanjing Brewery Co.,Ltd,this paper draws a conclusion that the company has problems in product sales,inventory management and accounts receivable management.According to these existing problems,the paper puts forward corresponding solutions,which provides decision-making ideas for decision level to improve the profitability of the company,and can also be used for reference by other enterprises in the same industry according to their own actual situation.
