Risk Management Mechanism Of Agricultural Catastrophe Insurance Under The Plan Of Futures Assets Management

As the world's second largest agricultural country,China is facing a grim situation of frequent agricultural catastrophes.In recent years,due to global climate anomalies,China's agricultural catastrophe has shown a high incidence,and due to the lack of China's agricultural catastrophe insurance system and the extremely high risk of agricultural catastrophe itself,China's agricultural practitioners suffer from the risk of agricultural catastrophe loss..At this stage,China's main agricultural insurance mechanism is government-led financial compensation,which has a time lag and also increases the economic burden of national and local finance.Moreover,excessive dependence on government disaster relief is not conducive to the healthy development of China's market economy and insurance industry.With the gradual deepening of China's economic structure,the improvement of the agricultural insurance compensation system,especially the agricultural catastrophe insurance payment mechanism has become an important issue in the development of the insurance industry.This paper first summarizes the definition of agricultural catastrophe insurance,and sorts out the development of global agricultural catastrophe insurance.At the same time,it compares the developed countries(US,Canada,Japan)that are relatively mature with China's agricultural catastrophe insurance in agriculture.The similarities and differences in the catastrophe insurance risk management strategy,and based on the corn futures contract,the agricultural catastrophe insurance risk management mechanism under the futures asset management plan is discussed,and based on the above qualitative and quantitative analysis,the future development of China's agricultural catastrophe insurance The model and development points give recommendations.
