Food quality and safety is an important issue that concerned from community.Meanwhile,it is a complex systemic problems.Competition between food enterprises has changed from traditional competition between independent enterprises to competition and cooperation between them.Considering customer demand as the direction and taking food quality chain competition and collaborative management have been a necessary strategy to food enterprises.Food quality chain management is taking the whole formation process as the managing object,and producing food to meet customer needs.Supplier evaluation and selection is one of the key technologies in food quality chain management.From the perspective of food quality and security,choosing suitable and reliable suppliers is the basic guarantee for food processing enterprises in food processing.However,food enterprises are always facing an uncertain market in raw material prices,market demand for food,which are important factors affecting food processing enterprises to select their vendors.Selecting the appropriate suppliers is a dynamic decision making process.This article mainly analyzes two aspects.Firstly,from the characteristics of food business suppliers,how to determine the appropriate number of suppliers to food processing enterprises is important in the situation of uncertain raw material prices and market demand.By setting up the corresponding robust optimization model,this paper studies whether the number of suppliers selected by the food enterprises can be more stable in cost control,that is,whether the change of the cost is in line with the requirements of the enterprise when increasing or decreasing the number of suppliers.This is better suited to the impact of these two uncertainties.At the same time,it analyzes the acceptance level of the solutions robustness and model robustness from the perspective of the model.Secondly,this paper analyzes how to choose the right level of the supplier to the food processing enterprises by concerning more uncertain factors from the perspective of supplier capacity.The uncertainties include raw material prices,market demand,raw material defect rate,supplier capacity,outsourcing unit cost,and total material rejection due to quality problems.Through the establishment of the corresponding robust optimization model,the paper analyzes the influence of the defect rate and the level of the suppliers' ability on the choice cost.Because the enterprise is carrying out the small batch purchase,the influence of the raw material defect rate and the capacity change of the individual supplier on the choice cost is small,so this paper assumes that all suppliers of raw material quality defects and ability are at the same level.At the same time,the ability robustness analysis will be carried out for several suppliers with more outsourcing.This paper studies the supplier selection problem under uncertain market conditions based on robust optimization.Focusing on the number of vendors,different vendors' ability and the impact of quality defects rate on cost.However,the factors that influence the selection of suppliers are vary,so that the paper fails to consider other uncertainties due to space and time constraints.
